I don't like the first one, which wasn't that original
Well, directing a flop would be a novelty for Cameron; lately he breaks the records he sets.

Avatar (2009) was his first "actual movie (not a documentary)" since Titanic in 1997. And it did fairly well. So I don't see what point you're making if you're trying to knock him (apologies if you're not)Has he directed an actual movie (not a documentary) since Avatar?
I don't think he has.
Very true. I was just channeling that guy who used to say FLOP!! all the time.flop would be a novelty for Cameron; lately he breaks the records he sets.
If the fate of an entire planet hinged on whether or not to blow up a tree, that tree is twigs.
Where on Earth did you get that impression? The message was clearly anti-greed.I didn't really like Avatar except as mind-numbing entertainment. Comes off as anti-science/technology to me.
For me, Avatar is the story of a brave colonel, fighting to save humanity, who was betrayed by one of his own. A tragic story.
Thoughts:
- I'm excited about the Avatar universe. Can't wait to see more of it.
- Have your dead one-dimensional villain be the villain of all four films? That's just great. I'm not watching.
- I love Stephen Lang. It's going to be good.
- Start filming now or I will post an opinion on Facebook that the sequels are not getting made. Cameron, you have been threatened! I'm not waiting until 2021. If you don't make it until then, I will get an advance copy and watch it.
- I hate arcs. I'm boycotting this sad Lord of the Rings wannabe.*
- No word on Grace? If she doesn't return, I will be sad.
* Wrote that sentence before I read the article. I swear.
