Mundane Plans

I gotta go to the bank to put my passport (and my remaining Canadian cash) back into my safe deposit box.

Thank you for reminding me -- I've been home for more than two weeks, and my passport is still sitting on my desk. Seeing it there makes me so happy, reminding me of the awesome places I've been with it. But I wouldn't want it to disappear so...

I need to go to the bank, and I need to buy a textbook for the class I'll be auditing.

Did they stamp your passport? They never do that anymore when I travel.

mundane plans....I'm moving in with my boyfriend and after work I'm going to a department store to buy plates, forks, knives, towels.....boring household items

but i'm so fraking excited!

No. Israel's Stay Permit (visa) is a little credit-card-sized scrap of paper that you have to make sure you don't lose the entire time you're in the country. :sigh: A passport stamp would've been so much easier!

Well, I ordered the textbook right away, but it took me until today to put my passport in the safe deposit box. I already miss it. :sigh:

Speaking of sheds: A friend just moved into one, which we then have to make liveable; cleaning, painting (inside and out) putting in windows (more painting), laying flooring, weeding and felling around it ...

Laundry, been doing it for days, didn't even know I had this much stuff that needed washing (found a pair of jeans and quite a few T-shirts I'd forgotten I had).
Getting ready to mend a pair of sweat-pants.
The fridge is a bio-hazard and needs cleaning.
Organizing my refundables (crazy how many PET bottles and aluminium cans I have in strange places).
Also stacking papers (for either recycling or kindling for a friends new wood burning oven in her shed).
Need to change a lamp in the cellar.
Planning to go to the bank to get (yet another) new code-card, I need in order to order a new passport (somewhat needed) and set up a travel-card kinda thing (so I can use public transportation while charging directly -and get a rebate because I use it so much) (very much needed).
Oh, and then I'm about to do a few dishes ... I've run out of both clean dishes and counter space.

Mundane plans for me:

- Trying to repair my luggage that got damaged in transit yesterday

- Going through all the pictures I took in New York City

- Planning for my NEXT vacation (Seattle) :)

Must be a Canadian thing, then. Canada is the only country I regularly visit and they never stamp my passport anymore. Don't know if this is at all related to the fact that Canada doesn't require visas for tourists.

Slowly coming out of a self-imposed exile...

My other "mundane" plans, which are actually rather large and important for me:

Getting my housemate (ex) [TF] out of my house so I can work (MAJOR performance anxiety...I HATE working artistically with an audience--even if they're asleep at the time).
Setting up a couple of printers.
Do tons of drawings and create oodles of 3d models.
Start a business to earn some moolah.
Basically, get my life back together.

Shit, tomorrow I need to go to the eye doctor and make an appointment to see my psych again for the first time in ages.

I still have moving boxes to unpack. It needs to be done, mostly because we've been here over a year now, and I want to hang my art and photos.
