Star Trek: Starships Model/Magazine Subscription

Eaglemoss does not sell the stands individually. You could call their support and ask, though.

Also, sometimes the boxes/stands are sold by individuals on Amazon.

News:
The Jumbo E-E availability date has now changed to 04 August 2017.

Have a problem with one of my orders and emailed them about it to which I was told my my mail would be replied to in 48 hours. It wasn't. Any point e-mailing their customer service again or should I just go ahead and call them?

Go ahead and call them. It's an email black hole.

I love what Eaglemoss does but considering about 85% of this thread is about problems with orders I am so glad I did not subscribe.

For the most part it's been pretty good for me. I'm still missing a couple issues and the Franklin is also MIA. My greatest concern is that their definition of "Special Editions", "Limited Editions" and "Shop Exclusives" are now completely meaningless. Ever since the large-scale TOS-E (still only listed as a Shop Exclusive) was set up to be sent out to subscribers as a Special Edition last month, none of their listings make sense. I've resigned myself to manually canceling anything coming that I already purchased from the store should it happen again with the oversize E-D or E-E.

NEWS:

1) The Jumbo Enterprise-E is available in the UK/Éire for pre-order NAOWW! ETA is 03 August.

2) K-7 is due 28 August. Link: https://shop.eaglemoss.com/star-trek-official-starship-collection/deep-space-station-k-7-model-ship

3) Code is PREORDER10.

4) If you spend a minimum of £60 you get Joker and Harley Quinn from the DC figurine collection.

0) Side note: The USS Shenzhou NCC-1227 is ostensibly a Walker-class starship. Source:

1 niggly point. If you pre-order the k7 and the Jumbo Enterprise-E together you cannot use the discount code or eaglemoss10 code to get both at a discount. You only get that Joker's Birthday gift. You can order the 2 separately but then it means you pay delivery on the j-7 unless you get something else.

Sounds like an acceptable compromise. I tend to re-order ships that break, or when I need more than one.

I'm the same. This is easily the most amazing Star Trek merchandising product ever, but hearing about other's experiences with Eaglemoss, I'm glad I never subscribed. I have been lucky, I guess, to get more or less every issue of the collection thus far at my local magazine stand. There were some oddities with issues that never arrived at the newsstand, but I just got them from ebay then.

I'm skeptical about that due to "The Walking Dead" connection. The main star was on that show and the zombies are called "Walkers".
It makes sense to me that they'd do that. Star Trek has a history of in-jokes and references that poke fun at other pop-culture. With her having had a role on WD, and the production being in it for "teh lulz", It's great.

Twitter participants are taking it for real as well. Plus, who'd make a metal pin for a one-off joke?

Considering the amount of detail the production crew go into on Star Trek, the canonical class would be revealed at somepoint anyway, so the question is more like who'd make a metal pin for a one-off joke which has 100% chance of being overruled?

Why wouldn't it be accurate? Even if it is an in-joke that's in the grand tradition of Star Trek ships. I hope Discovery has a hamster wheel in the engine room.

According to the same forum thread I quoted, Eaves named it after Walker, a US-American X-1 aircraft pilot.

Another discussion item: The registry of the Cheyenne-class USS Ahwahnee model is NCC-73620. In a later episode it was NCC-71620. Mike Okuda called the 73-version erroneous. Which do you prefer?

Well I guess it was bound to happen after I kept saying I haven't had any issues with the collection.... up to this point. I just received a shipping notification for issues 102 & 103. The problem is they never sent me issues 100 or 101!! This is starting to look bad with all the subscriber issues popping up lately here in the US. I will try calling directly to their European customer support headquarters to complain as it appears the US support is worthless.

Just stopped by and visited the Eaglemoss booth at ST Las Vegas. Briefly spoke with Ben & bought the jumbo Enterprise E and some binders. While talking to the guy who rang up my purchase mentioned my problems with the specials. He took down my name & e-mail and seemed genuinely interested. We'll see if anything comes from that.

So far the only new stuff out was K-7, Defiant 1764 & two models I don't recognize. One was all black.

Good luck! Maybe a calm face-to-face talk has a chance of making a dent.

The only black ship I can think of is the Smuggler ship from Qualor II (TNG), which has not yet been released in the US.

Is anyone over there taking photos and tweeting?

Just googled it & I think your right about it being the Smuggler ship. The fourth one I can't figure out. I did take a pic but don't do Facebook or Twitter. I'll have to try and figure out how to post it here.
