It's firmly ok for me. It's a little uglier than the other Enterprise variants, but not awful. Honestly I'm kind of bored with Federation design. There's only so many ways to strap a saucer section to a pair of nascells.

The only thing I'm still getting used to about the Discovery is the teeny-tiny deflector array. Other than that, it's very slick.

I'm not passionate about it really -- so I guess C most approximates my position. It just looks a bit awkward and mishapen to my eyes -- but not so much that I'm that concerned by it.

That gap in the saucer really bothers me. What is the possible point of that? And why would you have windows on the inner surfaces, when all they can see is the opposite wall?

You mean, as distinct from seeing an endless void with a few bright streaks outside?

Voyeurism is popular in the 23rd century.

I vote B. I don't love the design, but it's fine.

I really like the Shenzhou, though.

I'm actually pleased with that. The Discovery is pretty enormous, so I'm glad they didn't just 2XL the deflector. The Kelvin Enterprise was originally designed to be the same size as the original or refit Enterprise, then ILM literally just doubled the size of the ship without changing the size of any components like the deflector, docking ports, or windows. From the outside, it could be a ship for 15 foot tall giants(in some shots).

So yeah...I've liked the discovery since we first saw it. I just didn't realize until now that there were gaps in the saucer, and I'm not quite sure how I feel about that.

I just wish the nacelles were raised.

It actually reminds me a bit of the Baton Rouge as it is...

Loved the original look from the first teaser. Now it's terrible. Why put holes in your primary hull?!?!? Why would anyone do that?!?!?!?!
