CBS/Paramount sues to stop Axanar

At this point you could make a TV movie about the whole thing -- there's that much material now. Now, who to play Alec Peters?

Or is he that you-know-what that he'd volunteer to play himself?

Alec ALWAYS portrays himself as a victim. He's always blameless in everything - it was the OTHERS (a list that grows longer everyday it seems) that either didn't follow through, or he (Alec) was too trusting, or a certain actor suddenly wanted to big of a fee, etc.
Yeah, exactly, so why would anyone want to do something that plays into that narrative? It's way easier to portray yourself as a victim if you actually are one.

At some point you've done so many unsympathetic things you lose the right to play the victim card.

He doxxed me. Yesterday he doxxed someone else. He probably violated his non-disclosure agreement to post something that disproved his own point. Burn it to the ground. He deserves no safe harbor.

He has no reputation for you to destroy. You're going to end up burning your own reputation to the ground instead. You need to ask yourself if trying to hurt him is worth it. After all, if he can stoop to doxxing you, what will he try to do if you respond in kind?

Some Dean guy has been posting the Van Critters Deposition (sealed by the way) on Facebook with cherry picked comments showing that Prelude was better than Discovery.

Facebook is blowing up because The Light Works requested Terry remove the Axanar VFX footage that he's been posting online. Popcorn entertainment at its finest!

Lol - Alec Peters gave me a refund (berating me while do so too) MONTHS ago; but I guess I'm still on a Axanar Mailing List:

We're In Full Pre-Production Mode Now!
Here's an update on what we've been working on.

July 28, 2017

Dear Friends, Fans and Donors:

The past two months have been full of activity - between moving from West to East Coasts, setting up OWC Studios in Lawrenceville, GA, finishing (and now revising) the scripts for episodes IV and V of The Four Years war and much, much more.

THE FOUR YEARS WAR (Episodes IV and V)
As you know, as a result of the settlement reached with CBS Studios and Paramount Pictures, we are not producing a feature-length, Axanar film. After meetings with the production team and discussions with numerous fans, we've elected to proceed with producing two more episodes of "The Four Years War" - the mock documentary that provided for format for the award-winning PRELUDE TO AXANAR.

Our plans are to produce two, 15-minute episodes (Episodes IV and V) and tell the story of the Battle of Axanar and the Peace Mission that followed (and is referenced in the Star Trek:TOS episode "Whom Gods Destroy"). When we're done, we hope to have a trilogy of Axanar films that you all will love.

The first drafts of both episode scripts are done and currently in review with members of our production team. As with all projects of this sort, there are bound to be several changes made that will help us settle on a final production budget and timeline - both things are important as we work on raising the additional funds needed to complete the project and as we line up both on-screen and behind-the-scenes talent.

For more insights into how we plan on shooting Episodes IV and V, you can check out my Captain's Log blog post from June 27th where I went into it in great detail.

OWC STUDIOS
We'd like to give a big shout-out to our friends at Other World Computing for their

support. They've established a reputation for creating the perfect customer experience and worked hard to make sure their products have unrivaled performance, reliability and value.

We are so proud to have a relationship with a company like Other World Computing, we named our studio facility in Lawrenceville after them - stop by sometime and check out the new OWC Studios if you're in the neighborhood.

COSTUME UPDATE
We've spent a great deal of time working with our costume suppliers to make sure the quality of what you came to know and love in PRELUDE TO AXANAR is reflected in the design and manufacture of costumes for Episodes IV and V.

As you probably know, all of the Star Fleet uniform costumes in PRELUDE were made from scratch - and the Klingon costume worn by Richard Hatch was from my private collection of screen-used props. Kurt Cox (at Western Costume) provided Soval's robes.

Costume requirements for the upcoming episodes are different (see here and here) since we'll have at least fourteen different characters, as opposed to the six who were in PRELUDE.

AXANAR PODCASTS
A great way to stay up-to-date on how things are progressing is by listening to the Axanar Podcasts on Trek.fm. Here's a link to Episode 47 "You Ain't Seen Nothing Yet" with our new host Keith M. Sedor.

Check it out! :rofl::rofl:

FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION
Many of you know our PR Director, Mike Bawden, has worked with us tirelessly for the last 18+ months. Well, in addition to Axanar, Mike has also been working on a project of his own - and he asked me to share it with all of you for your consideration.

AMAZING TALES OF THE WASTED LANDS #1 - is a pulp magazine Mike is writing and Eisner Award winner, Dave Dorman is illustrating. The publication will be 80-pages of amazing artwork and adrenaline-fueled
stories of action and adventure.

And it looks like a lot of fun.

Mike has asked me to present an opportunity to all of our Axanar Donors to pre-order a copy of the publication for as little as $10 (+$3 shipping) through Kickstarter.

The magazine will go to press in October and everything will be delivered in November.

For a guy who has done so much and asked for so little in return, I thought the least we could do was help spread the word.

Thanks.

We thank you all for your amazing support so far and we look forward to the journey ahead.

Live Long and Prosper,

Alec Peters

Fairy tales can come true, it can happen to you
If you're Lord of Garth.
For it's hard, you will find, to be prudent of mind
If you're Lord of Garth.

You can go to extremes with impossible schemes.
You can laugh when your dreams fall apart at the seams.
And life gets more exciting with each passing day.
And fame is either in your heart, or on it's way.

Don't you know that it's worth every second of mirth
Playing Lord of Garth.
For as rich as you are, you'll outshine them by far
If you're Lord of Garth.

And if you should survive to 105,
Look at all you'll derive having never arrived!
And here is the best part, you have a head start
If you are among the very Lord of Garth.

Nice! But, if I may...

Sushi meals with your crew, it can happen if you
Portray Lord of Garth.
But it's hard, you will find, to be stable of mind
Acting Lord of Garth.

You'll exploit donor dreams on impossible schemes,
Though your tweets spawn the memes that reveal your extremes.
The funds gets more depleted with each passing day.
The shoot is always bout to start, or so you say.

But you think that it's worth every nickel on Earth
To play Lord of Garth.
Lazy hack that you are, wrote a screenplay sub par
Fucking Lord of Garth.

And if funds do crash dive from a million and five,
Lawsuits you must survive having never arrived.
But you think you're so smart, you trolling upstart
You will go unsung you petty Lord of Garth.
