If Mark Twain is 12 feet deep, Peters is a parsec short of a Buzz Lightyear.I guess he figures if Al Franken can get elected . . .![]()

The fact that he's a Harvard graduate, has written seven books (mostly about politics), and can draw all fifty states freehand didn't hurt either.Except Al Franken spent years talking about politics on the radio and presented himself as a serious candidate.
As someone with a Tesla Model 3 pre-order, that still strikes me as harmful, because used car salespeople are the ones lobbying to keep Tesla stores out of many states.I would settle for AP to just go away and do something productive- like selling used cars.

While this has been a fun train wreck to watch, the collateral damage is horrific to the fan community.
He does not deserve conversation- even 'haters' feed his ego since he craves the spotlight no matter who is aiming it.
He needs to become a trivia question-
'Who single-handedly destroyed the Star Trek Fan film industry while spending 1.4 million given to him under false pretenses?"
Um, he's an American Basketball player.Question - Who is Alec Peters ?
The Suns really needed him.Um, he's an American Basketball player.
This would be under - Star Trek Fans - as the $100 question in Jeopardy...
Question - Who is Alec Peters ?
Yeah, we've moved on from that...it's just going to be Alec failing as an actor.According to FanFilmFactor Tony Todd is not happy with the bloopers being released:
https://fanfilmfactor.com/2017/07/2...y-todd-not-to-use-his-axanar-blooper-footage/
I think he's got reasons for wanting Alec to open that door........but I think Alec it too broke to play ball at the moment.Frankly, I think Terry is aching for a lawsuit, and I think fandom has had enough of them.
The blooper reel is only be released with footage of Alec Peters. Expect it in a week or two.
I fail to see how it's more ethical to release Alec Peters' footage than it is to release Tony Todd's footage. Actions don't become more ethical based on how much you like someone compared to someone else. That's not how ethics works.Yeah, we've moved on from that...it's just going to be Alec failing as an actor.
If it were Tony Todd releasing the Alec footage, it might be a tad hypocritical considering his response to Terry, but at least you could say that turnabout is fair play. So far as I know, Terry McIntosh is not a party to any dispute between Alec and Tony Todd, and he is not authorized by Mr. Todd to seek revenge on his behalf. If he releases the Alec bloopers, it has nothing to do with Mr. Todd and everything to do with his own feelings about Alec Peters.Because Alec has been using Todd's image to fundraise for Axanar well after he left and Alec didn't even mention he left until he was called out on it. Todd also has a career on his own. Alec has no career to tank by being associated with this disaster. They're one in the same.
Alec ALWAYS portrays himself as a victim. He's always blameless in everything - it was the OTHERS (a list that grows longer everyday it seems) that either didn't follow through, or he (Alec) was too trusting, or a certain actor suddenly wanted to big of a fee, etc.I fail to see how it's more ethical to release Alec Peters' footage than it is to release Tony Todd's footage. Actions don't become more ethical based on how much you like someone compared to someone else. That's not how ethics works.
Besides, this is just going to make Alec more sympathetic by allowing him to portray himself as a victim who was sabotaged from within. Why would anyone want that?
