Most shots are pretty darn blue, but the corridor shots have a much warmer look that I hope we'll see a lot more of.

So unless they wiped everyone's memory at the end of the episode, then no, they can't.

They can have Romulans show up, sure. Just no visual communication. Or if there is visual contact, classify the encounter/limit the amount of people who know.
