On a side note, can we read anything into the fact that it's the pre-Moffat-era TARDIS exterior at the end of the clip? I wonder if we'll be going back to that prop again.
I have a feeling this was shot in the past couple of weeks and like you said they are currently filming Christmas Special...........Depending on when the promo was shot, it's not outside the realm of possibility that the current TARDIS was being used for shooting on either season ten or the Christmas special, so they had to haul out the Eccleston / Tennant-era one.
Bollocks! It most certainly DID!I think they just used stock footage of the TARDIS greenscreened into that forrest.
That key probably didn't materialize in her hand for real either.![]()
In my experience, folk who use the "SJW" label are the ones who don't see the people starving andSo the people against this casting choice also throw around comments about SJW's and claim feminism is a female supremacy movement.
How depressingly predictable.
WHAT!?!That key probably didn't materialize in her hand for real either.![]()

Yeah while I quickly became a huge fan of Capaldi's Doctor, I can't say the casting really got me terribly excited about the show again. But this somehow feels different and has me as hyped for the new season as when Moffat and Smith first took over.
You know, seeing this literally DAYS after watching (you know, with effort) a vid of his saying that Chibnall will be "fine" as producer... yeah, hilarious.
Worst idea ever. Not a fan.
I don't have to explain crap. I don't think the doctor should be a woman.
Soooo.. I don't like the choice. I prefer the doctor a guy.
Pointless debate. Silence falls.
Shittywritingism. The ratings have been dropping since Capaldi came on board. Was that ageism?
And yeah, Doctor Who is change incarnate. The more unusual it is, the more wonderful DW becomes. And I hope after Whittaker's Era they manage to surprise us even more.
In all this discussion (which thankfully is still 90% more civilised than anywhere else you could go) the real question has yet to be asked; will she go the Eccleston route and keep her accent or have to Lahn-dan it up like Tennant?
And I would like to add that, from the reveal trailer, I do really like the vibe I'm getting from Jodie's take on the Doctor.
You must really love Scottish Widows adverts.
I hope she stays northern, personally. A lot of my UK TV intake, for some reason, is set in the north (most often Manchester and surroundings), so those accents sound comfortably familiar to these Canadian ears.
Lot's of planets have a north! (And a Scotland apparently)I hope she stays northern, personally. A lot of my UK TV intake, for some reason, is set in the north (most often Manchester and surroundings), so those accents sound comfortably familiar to these Canadian ears.
