If it was possible to tell Janeway's younger years at Starfleet Academy, who would you see to perform the charismatic character? I'd say a mix of Karen Gillian & Carey Mulligan...

Good question but I really have no answer for you. Especially that I've never thought about this before.

However, I occasionally think about who could play Janeway if they made new Star Trek VOYAGER movies. You know a la Kirk (beautiful Chris Pine) style. But even to this question I have no answer ... I just think about it ... and think about ... and think about it ... and no idea who could play whom ...

I'm afraid I'm too fond of these characters to imagine that someone else might play them, especially Tommyboy ... That's love, I think (I don't only mean Tom, I mean I love them all) ...

However, once a friend of mine asked me if there was anyone I could accept tho play Kes in some future series or movie if Jennifer Lien wouldn't or couldn't do it if one of the purposes with the series or movie was to do away with the damage to the cheracter in that horrible, insulting excuse for a Star Trek episode in season 6.

The only I could possible think of were Kirsten Dunst, Renee O'Connor and Laura Harris. They have the looks and the skill.

It is interesting that you can actually imagine other people playing Kes. I could have sworn that no one apart from Lien could get the role in your book ...

Like I said I can't really imagine anyone else playing these characters. However, I could very well imagine a sequel in the form of animated cartoons with the original actors' voices.
