Thanks, Tracy. I did my best - after all, this was a birthday present.
And believe it or not, my friend's first reaction to it was with the very same words as yours ...
There are still too many VOY wallpapers to be made (my head is full of ideas
) ... but sooner or later I'd like to make a few more crossover ones for VOY/DS9. There are, e.g. a lot of actors who figured/appeared in both shows.
I'm sure you recall that Robert Picardo guest starred as Lewis Zimmerman once on DS9. He was evaluating Bashir to be the template for his next series of EMH's.
Of course. But there are a lot other actors as well who played a minor character here and there on both shows.

But thanks for assuming there was some hidden meaning in the picture. I'm afraid there isn't. I merely wished to recreate the Caribbean atmosphere which the episode projects.
Warning: in future ALTER EGO pictures you might see pineapples, kiwis, bananas, strawberries ... No hidden meaning is meant to be expressed with those - but if you find some, let me know, xD

I like how you set this one up with the show title on the sides and the episode title down the middle.
That wallpaper was made a long time ago but I still remember how long it took me to draw that Vidiian sign ... but on the whole, this one has nice colours, I think.
And for today here's Janeway from MORTAL COIL. Doesn't she just look beautiful (as always)?
