Your head canon

Were you the one that posted on here once about an anthology series which would focus on many different people (rather than just the characters we are familiar with), but set in the Trek universe?
I'm not sure, but that's a good idea. Have different stories with different characters, even different time periods. Have one in 24th century suburbia. One on a freighter, an alien ship. Have occasional tie-in stories. I dunno, maybe something like twilight zone meets Stephen spielbergs amazing stories meets star trek.

My head canon about the future scenes in Shattered (where Naomi and Icheb were adults) was that they were a couple.

Perhaps in the unaltered future before Admiral Janeway changed history in Endgame they were together as well and Icheb was Sabrina's father. That was the name of Naomi's daughter, right?

At the risk of bringing up two eps that give people indigestion...

My head canon involves both Tuvix and Fury.

Season 2 Janeway (in season 6 retrospect), knows that Tuvok survives until such a time that the recently diagnosed as pregnant Samantha Wildman's daughter is walking around the ship unescorted and cargo Bay 2 is home to a BORG woman and a bunch of BORG kids.

Because early season 2 Janeway knows this, then later season 2 Janeway knows that she MUST separate the Tuvix lifeforms into its individual Vulcan & Talaxian lifeforms.

You know what, I've always thought that too

I find the idea that Voyager was Janeway's first command, and that she was finding her way in that role throughout the journey, to be a fascinating context to her character. It's never stated outright on screen (as far as I know), but I often rewatch the show with it in my mind, and I find that it does make some of her more inconsistent characterization moments a little easier to excuse.

My head canon is Samantha Wildman also spent part of her time as an assistant to the Dr.

As a xenobiologist assigned to Voyager, I wonder why we never saw her more, especially working with the Doctor, who used to spend his time to make researches on everything bringing scientific and technological progress. Instead of that, we had Naomie, her sweet daughter, a character who didn't add much, in every detail!

Many times in a bridge scene when you see a blonde woman (but you don't see their face) in a blue uniform on the bridge, I tell my self (head canon) that it's Samantha Wildman. Even if the actress Nancy Hower is not part of the guest cast.

It's not my "head canon" but I suspect that the reason that Ensign Wildman so seldom was seen on the bridge was because she spent most of her time in The Shuttle and Torpedo Building Team and the rest of the time with Neelix! ;)

Well, if this really was Samantha Wildman, it would have been nice to see her from
head to toes and not to try to guess if she was there or another blonde officer wearing a blue uniform!

I'm reasonably sure there were probably other female officers in science uniforms. But since she was working on the bridge the first time we see her, it's my head canon that she still worked there.

As for "head canon", one thing I rerally see as my "head canon" is The Shuttle and Torpedo Building Team.

It's the only way to explain that they always had shuttles and torpedoes, no matter how many shuttles they smashed up and torpedoes they fired.

All credits to Lt. Carey, Lt. Rollins, Dalby, Henley, Chell, Gerron, Samatha Wildman, Vorik and The Borg Baby. They are the true heroes of Voyager! :techman:

My head canon about the deterioration of Tom's relationship with his father is as follows: According to the Voyager novel Mosaic, Owen Paris was captured and tortured by Cardassians when Janeway was a young officer serving under him. I think Owen probably always ambitions for his son, but after his capture, perhaps he had PTSD and he started being harder on everyone including Tom. Maybe this coincided with Tom's rebellious teen years. And that's when things started really going downhill for them. I would have liked to have seen some resolution to that storyline. But it wasn't to be. It certainly seems like Owen wanted to extend an olive branch.

How many times can you mention this in one thread? LOL
