Does anyone know how good this show is doing in the ratings? I find it hard and sometimes confusing to watch, it is all over the place.
Just watching part of this 2nd half premiere....yeesh. Seems like they ran out of ideas. I mean, really, a they're crack underground team that is basically mostly neophytes (with Ryan as the "veteran"). And they're fighting like children? Ugh. And now they've added a brother to the Haas family? Was Caleb Haas not available? So we have lookalike Clayton? And potentially a sister onscreen? I must have dosed off...why is Owen Hall in jail? will he be pardoned by the end of the season? This is starting to feel like a 24 ripoff, but without the timer
^^^ Pretty much describes my feelings on it. I am also tired of the "Alex is always right" storyline. Odd to wish this for your lead, but she needs to be knocked down a few pegs.
I totally agree with what you are saying..i guess I would attribute it to Jack Bauer syndrome. I mean, Kudos for ABC for having another non-white Male lead, especially one of Asian descent. We have more than reached a point to understand that she is the hero. But like you, I believe it's OK to make her Human.
I think Im only watching so I can see Priyanka Chopra and Johanna Braddy. At first I liked Quantico better than Blindspot. This season, I'm liking this show less. I wondered how long they could sustain the constant flashback story telling style. This season's FBI/CIA/AIC whatever was just eyeroll. And they dropped the flashback style here at the midpoint. At least it wasn't in the last episode. Eh. It's on. It's noise. My wife watches at it.
They seem to have answer the comment of "there are too many castmembers" by killing one off one per episode.
It'll be interesting to see what they plan to do for Season 3. I don't know how it got renewed, but it must be doing alright.
It got renewed???? At this pace, Alex will be assigned to teach at Quantico to recruit for her secret teM, and then 3b she will be named head of the FBI and change it to make the whole agenecy like her team. And by that time, every employee of the FBI will have slept with each other
It hasn't been confirmed, but leaks are saying it will be announced in May and it seems to be all over the star's social media.
It's getting renewed because ABC is desperate, the ratings are in the toilet, let everything else at ABC. Plus there will be another writers' strike so that will mess things up.
I've watched Quantico since the beginning, but lately it's been out of invested time than actually liking the show. I don't like the direction the show is going now, and in the middle of the latest episode, the writing got me annoyed enough that I decided to bail on the show permanently. It is very rare that happens, but I'm officially done with Quantico.
I skipped some episodes...but confronting the leaders of this vast powerful conspiracy? Seems pretty foolish... like trying to be like 24 in raising up the ante,but seems to fail. And in a nice surprise....two people who did NOT have sex in an episode (Claire & the Younger Haas)..THAT was shocking to me! OK, and what exactly is Alex doing? Seems kinda out of the blue and theoretically should NOT work in any way. 3 episodes left...but shouldi just wait until the last one?
I have a busy week this week, and missed last night's episode...so y'all think I would be OK putting off watching it on demand by a couple of weeks? Well, they just need the scenario sketched out...just fill in by sex with any combo of characters. So for example, Caleb sarcastically questioned if Shelby was going to sleep with his mom next (since she has gotten BOTH the sons and the dad). We just might see that next season!
wow..just over the top.i I should be used to it by now, but taking down a hostile president with no casualties (at least in the last couple of episodes. And too predictable/lazy to have the villain die at the end. No consequences for the rest of the team. (well, not negative, anyway). So what could they possibly do for next season. Oh, did the whole Trump parallels -- was that just good timing, or brewing from the get-go I also see that they weren't sure if they were coming back...so it works either way.
The article Enterprise is Great linked to said it was international sales...and they do have a diverse cast. But I still don't see how it can continue
I read that in a different article, but still find it amazing. It's only been two seasons, the show should have been gone after 10 episodes. Even for international syndication there would be a few more seasons. If they want an international cast they can always start a new show. I mean there are only 8 billion people to choose from. I honestly have never met anyone who has ever seen the show in person, or admitted to watching it.
