The typo that I find more amusing occurs in this issue. On the title page the character of Murcia is listed as Murica.

 

Did the collected edition ever fix the discrepancy in the "Eurydice" arc of whether the Enterprise landed in the Delta Quadrant or the Andromeda Galaxy?

 

Depends on if you count unspoken information from the final shooting script as canon or not. That's really up to individual interpretation of the concept, honestly.

 

I'd always kind of assumed that stuff was considered more or less canon unless it was contradicted.

 

Not officially, no. Scripts are just part of the raw material that goes into making a film or episode, and their details are subject to change or abandonment along the way. Sometimes their details get contradicted, sometimes they just don't get used, but either way they're just scraps left behind, possibilities that didn't make the cut. Most any creative work has a whole bunch of those. Sometimes later works will draw on those leftover ideas as a source of inspiration (like how Star Wars Rebels and Rogue One have drawn heavily on Ralph McQuarrie's unused or first-draft concept art for the original movies, or how Star Trek Discovery has apparently drawn on the McQuarrie-Ken Adam Enterprise redesign proposal), but that has nothing to do with "canon," just with not wanting a useful idea to go to waste.

 

Arex was named an "Edosian" in TAS production materials but when NF came around, Peter David tossed that out and named him a Triexian.

 

To be precise, a biography of uncertain provenance offered by Lincoln Enterprises said that his homeworld was Edos, but did not give the name of his species. Alan Dean Foster called him an Edoan, which might have been his own coinage or might have come from the scripts. The term "Edosian orchid" was coined by DS9 as an homage to Arex's unofficial homeworld, while ENT's Dr. Phlox was known to keep Edosian slugs and suckerfish. Maybe "Edoan" is the name of the people native to Edos while "Edosian" is the more generic adjective for things from Edos, though the books tend to default to the DS9/ENT form of the name for the people. (On one occasion, I resisted the copyeditor's attempt to change my use of "Edoan" to "Edosian," but there's been at least one case where I gave in and called the people Edosian.)

 

Just read Boldly Go #7. This is basically the Kelvin Timeline version of "Journey to Babel" but with their own spin.
