I find it more interesting that DRG3 apparantly didn't know about the novel being moved to late September until Defcon told him...

I'm so glad this novel is going to have an earlier release date. Yay!

I'm looking forward to it really. The latest DRGIII entry for DS9 was a good one in my book, especially now that we can move on from the Ascendents stuff.

With so many previous story threads (finally) closed, I am looking forward to this as well. I feel like all the players are in the right place for some good stuff to finally happen.

I am at the point where I read "threads closed" and thought you were saying that a lot of threads on TBBS were closed lately. I should go to bed.

My enthusiasm for this will depend on my reactions to Sacraments of Fire and Ascendance, which I have not read yet. I was pretty disappointed in the first The Fall book, but I'm not going to totally write him off over one meh book.

My overall reaction to most of his works are, 'that was juuuuuust enough to keep me going.'

    I'm still going.

I guess it would be more accurate for me to say that I thoroughly enjoy his ongoing story and it keeps drawing me back...however how he gets there is really hit or miss for me. Sometimes its amazing and sometimes its agonizing. I'd still count myself a fan.

Well, at least that led to him actually confirming it with the editors:
