Laurel didn't return. This was how they deal with Laurel's return? I hope there is more to it than this piece of crap writing.
I think the CEO gig would read like selling out to MIni-Fe. The stopped nuclear armageddon is cool, but nuking Havenrock is a bit an open wound.I kept waiting for Felicity to casually mention to mini-Felicity that she stopped nuclear armageddon last year. Plus, she spent time as CEO of a major tech company. Nothing, though. I understand not talking about Green Arrow, but you can still show a little pride!
Not to mention that Oliver somehow managed to explain what he needed from Barry in a single text and get an instant response.
I still think he should flash back to previous episodes.
Laurel didn't return.
Earth-1, Earth-2 . . . she returned.
Rene brings up the corpse daughter without mentioning the Earth 2 Doppelgänger or the new Black Canary. Although the two of them together had some serious chemistry together as actors.
Thea obviously died during Invasion.
I'm really liking Dinah, though it's kinda weird she's more like the Canary from the comics in two episodes when it took them 4 years to write Laurel into a similar position.
Talia's been awesome as well
and I'm glad to see Felicity getting a subplot that's not romantic in nature, the hacker group seems even more shady with the nudging to go to the dark side.
Still missing Thea, but good to see Quentin back, the scenes between him and Rene were great, Wild Dog's done the most growth of the newbies, I hope he won't be next on the chopping block.
Susan might have written herself in that position, if she tries to expose Green Arrow and that interferes with Prometheus' plans...
Almost forgot, loved the Green Lantern cameo.![]()
Or she just stayed in the simulation and everyone hallucinated she got out with the rest of them.![]()
Green Lantern cameo?Almost forgot, loved the Green Lantern cameo.![]()
but if Earth-1's Bruce Wayne had become Batman, I think we would've heard about it by now.
I don't know if their intentions are consciously malevolent. I think this was more about what Rory's father said to him, that with great power comes great -- err -- temptation to abuse that power.
I think it's more likely that Willa Holland has been unavailable for some reason.
Green Lantern cameo?
Perhaps he's just much better at working in the shadows than Oliver is.![]()
