Was Seska also an undercover Romulan known as Sub-Commander T'Rul?

A-ha!

There's an interesting twist in the tale which must be further investigated!

I've sometimes toyed with the idea that the Seska on Voyager was some Cardassian duplicate of the real Bajoran Seska who was either killed off by the Cardassians or remains a prisoner on some secret Cardassian prison planet.

But this one's better! A Romulan spy who has been changed to a Cardassian who has been changed to a Bajoran who ends up on a lost Starfleet ship in the Delta Quadrant and then ends up with the Kazon who I think can be distant cousins to the Klingon.

Now what an interesting scenario. :techman:
We shall pity her

Really the obsidian order needs to stop playing these ridiculously convoluted games and just do some analysis every once and a while.

Except the EMH doctor detected she was a cardassian :-)

She does look happier as a Romulan in the picture... right up until she gets killed anyway.
"Here's the on switch for the Defiant's cloak - aaaaaaahh!!"

Reminds of the sitcom plot where a character has two dates on the same night. I picture Seska going back and forth as a Romulan and Bajoran while trying to get info from two sources.

I think I want to start an Indiegogo to fund this spin-off! (We'll say it's an alternate timeline. Continuity problems solved!)

As it goes we can add more persona's to heighten the comic frenzy. Now she needs to be a Bolian! And then a Ferengi! And then a Horta!

my god, do you all realize what this means?!

Admiral Cartwright, after being dishonorably discharged from Starfleet for his role in the attempted assasination at Camp Khitomer, changed his name to Sisko and opened a civilian restaurant in New Orleans. Colonel Wests body was gooified and discharged into the Denorios Belt. Worf also somehow traveled back in time and became his own grandpa.

Also, for some reason Tom Paris convinced a bunch of people at the academy his name was Nick Locarno.

And Lwaxana Troi was able to pass off as a Nurse serving aboard the original Enterprise on some secret mission to protect the sacred chalice/holy rings of betazed.

mind = blown.

^Also, don't forget Shran, having a transspecies operation after a century or 2, turning into a Vorta and fighting the very political entity he was instrumental in creating in the first place! All the while conniving to improve his shady interests and power position within the Ferengi Alliance power hierarchy (probably prefering to stay neutral in the Dominion conflict), too.

That guy must have a hell of a conflicted personality.

Actually, given that Word-of-God suggests that Tom and his dad had issues, it's not vanishly impossible that Tom applied to the Academy until an alias to avoid accusations of nepotism or high expectations. Similarly, the disgraced Tom from VOY: Non Sequitur, could easily have gone by "Nick Locarno" to get away from the Paris family name.
