Crazy Ex-Girlfriend season 2 (spoilers)

Hey it's Seth Green. :)

Paula is awesome. :techman:

Darryl...

And the re-return of Trent! The season finale is going to be super cray-cray. Can't wait!

I loved how there were snippets of previous songs throughout the episode. It really set the tone.

I knew Rebecca was pretty crazy but her past reveal was insane! I feel so sorry for her though.

Looks like Darryl and White Josh have some serious talking to do.

Bring on season 3!

White-Josh Whitefeather?

No.

Just no.

UM...

So God has been keeping gay marriage to himself the whole time?

What a prick.

The end of this episode gave me jitters.

:)

Same. I wonder what Rebecca has in store for Josh...

You misunderstood what I meant about Darryl and White Josh having to talk. Near the end, Darryl says that they don't need to get married. He brings up that they should have a baby instead. White Josh's reaction didn't seem like he was on board for that.

Just an observation, I thought Rebecca made a gorgeous bride! I loved her dress and the way her hair was styled.

Rachel was a lovely bride in real life too.

All brides are lovely.

As long as you keep saying that, no one is going to paint you a new smile with a half broken champaign flute.

I have a theory.

The part where they show flashbacks to Rebecca in the mental institution, what if she's still there and everything in the show is made up in her head?

Yes. I've seen Buffy too. :)

(As well as Ash vs. Evil Dead, Deep Space Nine, Charmed, Stargate Atlantis, Medium, First wave, Waehouse 13, Teen Wolf, Smallville, TNG, the Magicians, Farscape and St Elsewhere.)

I think they did that for the series finale of Roseanne too.

I know it's a recycled plot line but because Rebecca is actually crazy, it would make sense. However I hope it's not because that would be so sad.

In the final Roseanne, we find out that they did not win the lottery, Dan is dead, and her daughters switched husbands... The examples I gave above are about "heroes" who wake up in a mental asylum and are almost forced to believe that the Asylum is real, and that they were never heroes, or aliens or super powered or magic or whatever.

Except St Elsewhere, because it turned out that that 8 years of television were the fantasies of a young autistic boy, but never mind, it was still pretty close.

In the finale it was revealed that everything in the show was a product of her writing. She changed the things she didn't like (Dan dying, the girls switching husbands).

I get what you're saying but it's kind of similar: people thinking they live in an alternate world.

Once Upon a Time is so bad.

I thought Greg was going to return. :(

What's worse?

Burning down a school , or burning down a church... Actually?

The sheer numbers of puns, the Standards and Practices-skirting dirtiness (both men finishing… their dance, on Rebecca’s chest… of drawers) and the relentless grinning cements a celebration of sex into a show whose main character could, well, use a break. Although, any sequence that features a giant ass prop for hamboning (pun definitely intended) is all right in my book.

That this results in her almost burning down her apartment complex in an ex-boyfriend memorabilia bonfire is the perfect Rebecca overreaction. Nowhere is safe from those memories, that lost feeling of being needed, so screw it—burn it all to the ground.

As an arsonist, who only out so long as she takes her medication, Rebecca should have been dragged back tot he nut house for starting that fire in the back yard earlier in the season.

Rachel Bloom has said explicitly that is not the case.

The judge said he would drop the charges if she got treatment. We don't know anything about rules imposed on her after she left the asylum.

Just got caught up on the last 3 episodes of the season and I think they, along with the Bar Mizvah episode are my favorites of the season.

Turning the "Santa Ana: winds, a generally mysterious So Cal phenomenon, that NO ONE likes, into a metaphor for trouble and bad luck was brilliant. Plus it's SO southern california, (as is West Covina). Plus, and I agree with Janeway's Girl, the actor who played the wind was perfect. Every time he sang "tee hee hee", I cracked up.

Always good to see Father Brah. Paula is otherworldly awesome. The way she told Rebecca's mom off but then let Rebecca think mom came through on her own is what friends are for. What an a-hole her dad turned out to be.

Valencia was great as was Heather, who is just too real for the world.

So Josh is going down next season. 'Bout time.
