Caption contest?

^ No, I just did a search. There have definitely been caption contests for the Kelvin films, although there hasn't been one for a few years now.

Just do a search for any thread in the ST XI+ forum with the word "Caption" in the title and you'll see what I mean.

Well, now we have another film from which to draw. What stopped them? Lack of new images?

^ I have no idea. Some caption contests just don't draw as much attention, I guess.

As I recall, that what happened. Rat Boy had been running the contests in this forum, and just got too busy with offline stuff.

Traffic for all of the caption contests had been steadily falling off, as well, which may also have factored into it.
