Where did the profits do with the dominion fleet?

The prophets made thousands of dominion ships disappear in episode "Sacrifice of Angels". But where did they go? Did they got to another space, time, did they just cease to exist?

I have always wondered about this too, as the prophets are usually reluctant to intervene in corporeal affairs, in STO they send the fleet into the future, I always got the impression though the prophets(along with other super advanced beings) are averse to killing(mostly with exceptions though). Perhaps they were sent back in time or transformed into peaceful lizards or something.
