Did a search here and saw no mention of this.

Was looking through my channel guide to see when Next Gen would be back on, and stumbled onto Voyager joining the BBC America schedule - Jan 1 at 5am EST. Looks like they're kicking it off with a marathon.

If it was regular BBC they would all have to be dubbed in different accents to reflect the different people in the UK. And Ireland of course but who knows.

Good news. It's always fun to catch a stray TNG ep from time to time and now VOY.

I wonder if they will ever carry DS9 or Enterprise.

Happy New Year! Turns on BBCA and discovers VOY on.

A show with no British actors!

    Skipping DS9...

A show with Brit and Irish actors and characters! Yea! :rommie:
Being a Niner, still hard. Welcome to 2017.
    ;)

I didn't think things had to be dubbed for different accents. They are still speaking English.

Perhaps these re-runs will spark a renewed interest in 24th century trek.

DS9 is on a lot in the UK, Voyager not so much.

    Kind of ironic.
I'd imagine it has to do with the stand alone nature of the shows. They often show various episodes in a random haphazard manner.

I've never watched through the entire DS9 series yet. Syndication made viewing the show difficult in my area as it was preempted for basketball on Saturdays often. I think I've watched all of the episodes at some point but not in order. It was a pretty good show I will say. Although Brooks overacting at times puts the Shat to shame. ;)

I caught the tail end of the episode The Chute on BBC recently. It appears they cut part of the scene at the end where Tom and Harry are talking after they've left sickbay. Like Harry still feeling so guilty and Tom says he only recalls Harry protecting him. All I saw was them leaving sickbay and then turning the corner talking about what they will get to eat. That seems like a rather important bit to cut out.

Is it me or Star Trek: Voyager is offering itself a second youth and/or breath though a new releasing on DVD box and an airing on Netflix*, BBC America, etc.... It's GREAT!!! :techman:

    * can you imagine that, just for France, this show was never aired on any of our major broadcasting ... before that Netflix decides to propose the program in its list with others sereis from ST franchise?! (I managed to watch the show first, thanks to a friend living in Québec who had recorded them and 2) thanks to DVD sets purchased on Amazon.

What on earth are the BBC thinking? I could maybe understand TNG being on there - it was a good show and had a great British lead - but Voyager?

    Really?!?!

I do realise that they have to mix some US shows into their American channel to make it more palpable for US viewers, surely though they could have found something better than this?

They're also running CSI:Miami, so yes. They can make even more questionable programming choices. My only guess as to why is a sudden infatuation with shows built around impossibly magical technology and rampant technobabble.

There seemed to be a marathon of "VOYAGER" episodes this Saturday. And they all seemed to be from Season Three.

So glad to see this on Saturdays and Mondays, it's my first time going through the series. Glad we finally got to season 3.

I was soooooo excited when I noticed Voyager on BBC America!!! I always liked Voyager more than DS9 (was never into the religious aspect of DS9).

Strangely, I've seen every Voyager episode several times but have never seen the finale.

DS9 is available on Long Island via MeTV. TOS and TNG have been available for a long time here. No Enterprise though.

Found another cut line. In the episode Ship in a Bottle when the EMH mentions the Dominion the doctor doesn't say "the who?"
