Agreed. I also prefer this Lois to anything from the New 52. Their son is also a great addition (particularly his interactions with Damien Wayne).

Damn, that's kind of a shame they let a few tweets like that get under their skin.
There are hints that old Superman doesn't really belong in the new 52 verse. I'm still thinking that we haven't seen the last of new 52 Superman and at some point Lois and Clark are going to join with their new 52 counterparts somehow.
As for the Titans, in the first arc Abra Kadabra says that he was the one who threw Wally into the speed force. I haven't finished that first arc yet, but it doesn't say anything about the complete rewrite of time.

Wasn't there some suggestion in the Lois and Clark series that ended with Rebirth that this Superman was not as powerful as he'd been on his own earth? I thought that angle was worth further exploration but it seems to have been quietly dropped.
I think the current Superman is pretty safe. New 52 Superman isn't exactly a character people seem to be clamoring for or really care is gone, while Super Dad seems pretty popular (and personally I think he's great, which isn't surprising since he's the same awesome Superman that we had pre-grim and gritty reboot), and his kid is also well received. I really don't think we'll be seeing the New 52 Superman again, at least not on a permanent basis, and I think that's a good thing.

I'm not saying that new 52 Supes will return as a separate entity. I am thinking that some how the two characters will be joined so that pre-52 Superman and Lois become a definitive part of the new 52 universe along with their son but that the status quo of Clark and Lois at the Daily Planet returns.

I legitimately can't see any reality where they "join/merge" characters, but based on what I put in the spoiler they have literally no reason to do anything like that, anyway. DC currently have their cake and are eating it, too. The only thing they don't have is stupid Clark/Lois relationship drama, but they didn't have that for years pre-New 52 and it worked, and I think that the family dynamic is working out really well for them, so that stuff is unneeded. They have the Daily Planet stuff, they have a Superman people actually like, they have a dynamic with Superman that they really haven't done before, and its popular.
A "Clark Kent", who is apparently a real Clark Kent, is at the Daily Planet with the pre-reboot Lois Lane (who is somehow fooling peoiple into thinking she's the New 52 Lois, even though that woman must have been at least 10 years younger, but whatever).

Is anybody reading Death of Hawkman and enjoying it? That wasn't the original name of the book but they changed it at the last minute for marketing purposes, I would imagine.
Absolutely. I'm only two issues in (I only get my US comics once a month per mail), but those two issues are very good, and I'm looking forward how this plays out.
New Clark will allow Superman to be Clark again once the dust settles
At some point, probably when the two-year Watchmen arc plays out, I do expect that the status quo in the Superman titles will revert to something closer to the pop culture idea of Superman -- Clark and Lois in Metropolis, both writing for the Daily Planet -- but with a few elements of the current status quo remaining, like Jon. Yet, I'll feel like something's been lost when that happens. I like the rural setting. I like Clark and Lois trying to give Jon the sort of upbringing Clark had. And I'll miss that.

There's an upcoming crossover between the Superman titles, called "Superman Reborn". In the finale of that story in "Superman" #20, the suit will be tweaked again:

That's because they weren't wrong to ditch them. They're awful, and the suit works so much better without them that I honestly don't see the issue.
The Watchmen arc definitely continues in April. I'm excited by this, more than anything else Rebirth has given us:

I'm sorry I have to disagree with you. They were right to ditch the midnight blue/black ones from Batman's costume, but I really think they should have kept the red ones on Superman along with the yellow belt. Nobody seemed to have a problem with them for the first 73 years of the character's history, not to mention the 'Earth-One' graphic novel series. Its the same with the yellow oval and long(ish) ears on Batman's suit, why the hate?
My compromise suggestion - and this would also apply to Henry Cavill (and if he should reappear) Tyler Hoechlin is that instead of making the red area trunks, why not simply have an area around the crotch that is coloured red rather than blue? Think the 'Super Powers' action figures from the mid-80s. I know that they were supposed to be trunks and for practical purposes were painted on but still, work with me here.
