That's exactly it -- what's "instantly" to a normal human should be plenty of time for a Kryptonian to perceive and react to the threat. Remember the Quicksilver scenes in the past two X-Men movies? It should be like that for Supergirl. The moment she saw the Dominator raise its gun and aim at the POTUS, she should've been in the path of the beam before it even left the barrel.
To be fair, it's common in these shows for dramatic purposes but many times they should have been able to disarm a threat before it could react.
Aww, but I thought Barry just subjected Caitlyn to a form of cognitive behavioral therapy, i.e., exposure with response prevention (believe me, I've recently had bouts of harm OCD and just because I've had violent thoughts doesn’t mean I actually want to hurt people).
Seriously though, Caitlyn did try to harm her friends (and I don't believe she has OCD). Insecurity or not, I was glad Barry challenged her to see if she could actually go through with killing him.

Really enjoyed the last couple episodes
The Killer Frost one was a really good one for both Caitlin Snow and Danielle Panabaker. I do have agree that the Julian/Alchemy reveal was not much of a surprise at this point, people have been predicting that since he was introduced.
The first part of Invasion was great. I was pretty surprised how much of the stuff with Wally becoming a Speedster came into play, but they did a good job combing that with the crossover elements. The heroes vs heroes fight at the end was awesome. Once again the TV shows outdid their movies.

Well, the Eobard running around now is an offshoot from the moment of Nora's death, right? So whether he is a fragment, or whether he left a fragment behind to become Wells, either way he is basically the original Eobard, freed from his fate of Flash S1, able to cause new havok once more, unless my interpretation is completely wrong.... the show may force him into having to eventually fulfill the role he did originally, but that makes no sense, as the show usually doesn't go with predestination paradoxes.
Also, should the Legends even have been affected by Flashpoint? They were in the timestream during Flashpoint as well, most likely. I assumed they would have been protected as well. Odd.
They were protected, in that they don't have memories of any changes that have been made to their own "history", as in Stein not recognizing that he now has a daughter (assuming that's a consequence of Flashpoint and not his own time travelling). But their "pasts" can still have been changed, they just remember the original timeline.
In Stein's case the changes were more severe, that's why his brain can't cope with the changes and he gets those flashes headaches etc.

I'm sure that the changes to Stein's timeline is due to his own direct meddling in it.

Stein admitted to Jax that he'd screwed up the timeline when they went back to 1987. He's keeping it a secret because he doesn't want to erase Lily.
Without Lily, no pain weapon... But seriously, with all the effort to slap a joy buzzer on their backs, they could have just stabbed them in their eyes.

He is, by the show's definition, a time fragment. No ifs, ands, or buts about that. And all time fragments believe themselves (and effectively are) the "original." They're just a snapshot of the original, where as the original Eobard was completely erased. (The show's weird way of handling that/largely ignoring it notwithstanding; when his great great etc. grandfather killed himself, Eobard was never born, hence there was no "original" Eobard.)
But yes, he's a time fragment who can do whatever he wants. But since his original self was already erased, and he still exists, he's effectively severed from anything that could/would affect his original self, including the future he came from or any events related thereof.
He's basically got a free pass to do whatever he wants without consequence.
The writers of the show are also time fragments!

There was a lot of speculation that on Earth 3 Hamill would be called The Jokester. Due to the comics Earth 3 having a character with that name. But I am glad he is still called the Trickster. The Earth 3 of the comics is very different. The Jokester is a hero. Also it would have added to the confusion that the Joker and the Trickster are the same character.
I hope at some point they finally give him the Trick Shoes that allow him to walk on air in the comics. That is his signature gimick but never would have been possible in the 90 series but would be easy now with green screen and digital double. Mark Hamill said on Twitter a few months ago he wants it too. Which could lead to the inevitable Trickster is a Sky...walker comments. Probably from Cisco.

I really hope thats not the extent of the Trickster crossover. Seems like thats the *beginning * of an episode, and the end of a spoiled Trickster TEASER. Dammit.
