Lucked out and was able to get Bravely Second via Best Buy's site. Been waiting for that game to come down in price, so it was nice to be able to snap up a copy (not the gift -- this was for me).

Oooh. Sounds very pretty. I was very tempted to get one on Amazon for myself.
My niece's Xmas gift arrived today--a flying drone toy, which I'm sure she will crash into something/someone and cause damage. But it's what her mother told me she wanted so I bought it. One of the good things about being the Aunt: you get all the gratitude for the gifts but don't have to deal with ANY the fallout.
I managed to get my mits on one of those white Limited Mario 3DS systems....I had to stand in line at gamestop for about an hour. Apparently they only had 4 in stock when they opened, and I got the only white one they had (which pissed off a dude behind me) Anyway, That was my first (and last) Black Friday line.
I don't normally bother with Black Friday, but I've always wanted a topaz (my birthstone) and this one was the perfect colour. It was under half price in the sale so I grabbed it, to be fair it's the only deal I bothered with.

Does a fantastic job with the UHD Star Trek Beyond disk I got along with it..picture quality is fan-freakin-tastic.
the HDR settings on my TV can finally be put to good use!
Up-scales my Forbidden Planet Blu-Ray with a much better picture as well, finally, it even up-scales my Babylon 5 DVDs to a
certain extent-- several DVDs look much better compared to the "Up scaling to UHD" Sony Blu-Ray player that was our prior
disk player for the 4K TV...and unlike the Sony unit, all aspect ratios are displayed properly without manually setting them on the TV..
and got it for a song..$200.00

Pokemon Moon (3DS) - The first Pokemon game that I've bought new the month it released since Gen 2 (Gold/Silver). I've managed to avoid almost all spoilers, except I saw images of most of the new pokemon. I'm really excited to sart playing.
