The episode "Precious Cargo"

And yet its titilliation value seemed to be one of the few positives touted in this thread.

-I- don't think an episode should be reviewed on that grounds, but clearly others disagree.

Really? From the very first post in this thread: "That lucky devil Trip. Oh man when the Monarch took off most of her dress and exposed most of her legs I about lost it. Sexy sexy."

And the point of what I said is that since the only (arguably) positive virtue of the episode appears to be checking out a hot chick (pardon my language), there isn't much reason for gay men to watch the episode. I don't want it to be titillating, I want it to have other virtues.

If I want to watch something for titilliation, I don't go to Star Trek.

I think I had deliberately forgotten that, thanks. ;)

I don't think anyone beside the OP said she was a reason to watch the episode. It's generally agreed that the mock trial scene is the highlight. And I guess if you are a Trip fan you can like it because it features Trip.

Happy and sorry to have jogged your memory? :p There is another post where someone said they "quite enjoyed Padma Lakshmi", but I'll grant that one's open to interpretation. Though based on my understanding it's doubtful they were referring to her (Calculon) ACTING......TALENT!!! (/Calculon)

Trip honestly never did much for me. I think part of it may have been that he was deemed a "popular" character and consequently received more focus at the expense of other members of the crew.
