CGI models of ships, environments, planets, and their texture and resolution
ship-to-ship battles with explosions, camera moves and the quality of lighting.
I think we all know this will be a CGI spaceship show rather than physical models.
No this thread does not deal with CGI characters like the Xindi-Insectoids from ENT.
And no please do not compare the Discovery ship CGI on the actual series from the teaser done in Spring 2016 showing the tentative design of Discovery.
What is the general level of expectations for this new series season 1 since they have additional time to create the design and ship/planet/space station CGI model assets?
Battlestar Galactica, ST: ENT, The Expanse, Deyfing Gravity, Ascension, MARS series or much better?
What about the camera moves on recent Star Trek (2013) videogame cinematics?
4k UHD level of resolution for the CGI models or just 1080p HD?
I will say I am expecting 4k UHD level of quality since Netflix expects this of their original series and most likely in the future CBSAA will add this quality to their streaming service.
