Do you celebrate Halloween?

Ensign

Lieutenant Commander

What is everyone here doing for halloween, if anything?

I will be watching a scary movie (Lights Out) and eating Halloweeny treats!
I am in a new neighbourhood too, so I will just be sitting in pretending I'm not here. I dont expect anyone to come to my door but, yeah :D

Define "celebrate". We put a few inflatables out in the front yard, and we'll have candy and such for the Trick-or-Treaters. But we don't go to adult parties and such, and we never watch scary/horror movies, not even on Halloween.

Its very close to bonfire night here too, so we get like 2 weeks of fireworks... I am so glad I dont live in a city any more lol.

I celebrate!

We have sweets for any visitors, but other than that, not particularly.

I don't even save any horror flicks for the night:(

Decorated the yard with orange lights and Styrofoam tombstones. Will dress up in my "Tardis" T-shirt, boots and hat and hand out candy to the trick or treaters. That's about it.

This is the last day to prepare for a month of writing (NaNoWriMo) so no Halloween for me. Mind you, the story I plan to write involves a vampire queen, abominable snowman, dwarves, elves, and an intrepid hero who survives all that.

Fireworks? Is this a thing where you are?

Not sure where @Ensign is, but given bonfire night, yeah, fireworks are a thing here. Next Saturday will be the big day(Guy Fawkes and all that), but I've been hearing (and seeing) some go off for the past week or so.
