Excessive Criticism of "STAR TREK VOYAGER"

They wouldn't, as the Organians do not present themselves as being technologically advanced. Most noncorporeal beings would either be ignored or easily remove themselves from the situation, such as the Q.

You get what I mean. What would've happened if the Borg attacked a superior force (which we know exist)? Wouldn't they get obliterated?

Species 8472.

We saw this.

The Borg's tactics and weapons were both inferior to the task.

The Borg refused to retreat, or change tactics, or acquire bigger guns.

They should have been buggered.

Thanks Obama.

I don't know how to talk more simple than that.

You saw Scorpion.

The Borg believed like a Christian believes in Jesus, that they would win every battle with 8472, despite the catastrophic losses the felt, while losing every single conflict they had with 8472.

We saw a drone trying over and over again trying to assimilate a dead 8472 and failing. it didn't understand why it shouldn't stop trying to do something that was clearly impossible, because resistance is futile.

Lucy with the ####ing football.

It wasn't a dead 8472, it was a living bulkhead.

No, seriously, not 35 years, that was a joke, but it's been quite some time since I last watched Scorpion.

There's way too much new TV available to me now, to bother watching Voyager again any time soon.

But ST is your preferred franchise, is it not?

I wonder if they tried to go after the Q, what would happen if they did.

According to Q2, even Q consider the Borg a threat.
In "BEFORE DISHONOR" the Borg Queen (=Janeway) does mention to the female Q that they Q are deluding themselves if they think they are safe from this new generation of Borg (you know the drones that don't assimilate any more but absorb ...)
