Phlox

Not too keen on having strange alien creatures shoved into my body (unless it is at a really good party).

Some other Negatives- McCoy only screwed up twice that I recall- Spock ended up blind and he killed his Father.
Crusher screwed up even less, but hers resulted in over a thousand people being turned into primitive creatures inside a drifting starship.

Dr. Leonard "Bones" McCoy - an emotionally unstable and rather elderly member of staff. Get rid of him!

Dr. M'Benga - would've much preferred him as CMO on TOS. He's even tempered and quite knowledgable. For example, when Spock was in his healing trance, that time, in Sickbay, Dr. M'Benga instructed Nurse Chapel on the ins and outs of it. And she was all happy with herself, that she had this new special knowledge for treating her favourite patient ...

Dr. Beverly Crusher - She's not only got ALL of the qualifications required but she also has a lovely temperament and bedside manner. I love Bev - she's the best!

Dr. Pulaski - love her on TOS, hate her on TNG.

Dr. Julian Bashir - a bell's end who happens to be rather competent.

The EMH - It's great to understand The Human Condition and all that, but he seems overly attached to procedures, to me. Medicine is not an exact science. I'm not entirely convinced he understands that.

Dr. Phlox - the only real quack in the lot. And one's too many ...

Doctor McCoy - his attitude to Spock's Vulcan body parts would have him up on a xenophobic charge before you could say 'green blooded hobgoblin'

Selar. The only patient of hers we see dies, & she has a crappy bedside manner. Just kidding. I honestly don't have a problem with any of their doctoring abilities. It's some of they're personalities that turn me of.

Can I vote for Peter Capaldi?
Why not? I'm voting a three-way tie for Drs. Oz, Phil, and Feelgood. I'm not convinced any of them are real medical professionals. ;)
No, because Peter Capaldi is awesome.
He may be, but I'm not convinced that *that* Doctor is trained in human medicine, either. I'd rather have Rory work on me, or even better, the Doctor take me to that hospital with the cat people in the far future. :)

I would choose either Dr. Pulaski (unless she was the only physician anywhere available), or Crell Moset.

Yes... that's right, I put it between two people, one of whom is the 24th century equivalent of Josef Mengele.

Phlox, still more experienced and competent than any 21st century doctor, the EMH, highly skilled and by Voyagers return, experienced with real people; Crusher, Bashir, and McCoy, clearly excellent physicians as well, all of which experts in human care.

It's probably easier to ask who you would PREFER treat you.. rather than not.

I don't think I would want anyone of them to treat me unless I was dying.
