In Life Support, when Kira says that if she played against Bareil she would have an unfair advantage.

He says: "You mean playing against a dead man?"

That had a Three Stooges feel for me. Curly sitting in a barrel of upholstery nails, then jumping up & down the same way Dukat did "get it out, get it out".

Yeah, a little bit Three Stooges slapstick, but in small doses I enjoy it. It worked for me in that episode as comic relief between serious scenes. The Three Stooges has no serious scenes.

The one "LOL" moment that I can recall was Rom trying to throw the ball back to the infield in the baseball episode.

The one "LOL" moment that wasn't intentional was the allamaraine scene in that episode.

I have just started my beloved DS9 again and the show, for as dark as it is, is dripping with [realistic] humour.

One that had me laughing quite hard was S1 E3 with Odo and Quark [what a wonderful pairing they are]:

Quark: "How did you know?"
Odo: "You claimed Rom fixed your replicators"
Quark: *nods*
Odo: "Rom is an idiot. He couldn't fix a straw if it was bent"
Quark: *nods*

My father and mother had a smililar situation. My dad's family had eleven children. He was the youngest. By the time he was born some of his older brothers and sisters were already married with kids. He was an uncle the minute he was born. An older sister married a man named Joe. When dad grew up he married Joe's niece. Dad's sister became his aunt by marriage and my mother's uncle became her brother-in-law by marriage. His wife, whom she had long known as an aunt, became her sister-in-law. My aunt is also my great aunt because she married my grandmother's brother. Her husband was both my uncle by marriage (married to aunt) and my great uncle by blood ( brother of my grandmother). When telling this story I take great pains to explain that my parents were NOT related!
