I've generally been against a return of TNG, as I don't think a new series or theatrical movie would be a good idea. But if the 2017 relaunch works, it would be cool if they produced a one-off TV movie. I imagine the plot would be "getting the band back together one last time", and would probably crossover with a couple of characters from DSC.
I think the problem is... I wouldn't want a TNG reunion to follow on from NEMESIS. I'd want a TNG reunion to be from where we left them at the end of All Good Things. Most people who get nostalgic for The Next Gen cast are remembering them from the TV show. Not the hit-or-miss-but-mostly-miss movies.
I suppose it could be fudged. Set it on the Titan a decade plus change after Nemesis, have the uniforms and look of the "next" era look more bright and optimistic.
I was looking at shots of the Enterprise D earlier, and it made me sad. I'm not a big fan of the look of the D, or her interiors. They've grown on me, because they were with me from a very young age. (I do remember watching BOBW on TV. That was incredible.). But... Looking at the D I couldn't help but feel Roddenberry's spirit. His creative touch adds a certain something to Trek that when I look at the E, or anything that came later, I just don't feel it. TNG(the series), like TOS, felt like home more than the later stuff.
With all that said, if you were going to do a TNG reunion, i'd want the above for the visual and style. I'd want Ron Jones brought back to score it, and i'd want a veteran TNG director. Someone like David Carson, Winrich Kolbe, or Peter Lauritson.
