At least we've got Dolph Lundgren.
I'm a Superhero fan and like musicals. It's not really either or. TV musicals have become popular lately. It's much more than capturing the "Glee demographic". And for the record, I liked Glee too.I mean, I get why CW is doing it. The teen demographic of Glee is CW's bread and butter (at least with the majority of its non superhero shows), and I'm sure they aren't comfortable having superhero fans liking their network. That makes the decision make sense for them. As someone who is basically the complete opposite of the Glee demographic, this is just terrible. I've sat through horrible musical episodes before, and I never expected Flash to do it. Its a bit depressing to find that one of your favorite TV shows is having one less real episode, all because some idiots thought that High School Musical and Glee were good examples of how to make episodes of superhero shows.
Have you met VIbe?What's next, an Arrow/LoT break dance crossover?

Some, especially those who don't like the idea, may laugh and wish it didn't happen. But they were predisposed to hate it anyway. The shows boast some solid musical performers, so I think on that front people will be entertained.Much like 80s Vibe, the musicals are a terrible gimmick that everyone will laugh at and wish didn't exist shortly after they happen. As for the character, Vibe is actually the only character that the New 52 comics improved, to the point where he was actually compelling and worked well. The Flash has also done Vibe well, although he's pretty different from both the original and New 52 versions.

Blanket statements about how everyone will react isn't going to help your argument. You might want to try a different tack..
You're quite fond of the pejoratives aren't you? You should stop and think a bit before writing and hitting send.Again, making a musical episode in a show it doesn't fit just because some of the actors were on a shitty musical show or did some stupid plays is idiotic. Also, I'm pretty sure the general audience for The Flash isn't there to watch a musical.

What the fuck dude, Rent is not some stupid play. It was a well regarded, hugely popular musical that actually deals with some pretty significant issues. The year it came out it won 5 Tonys including Best Musical, Best Book, Best Original Score, and Best Featured Actor, and 6 Drama Desk Awards including Musical, Book, Actor, Orchestration, Lryics and Musical. Oh yeah, it also won a Pulitzer. So no, Rent is not just some stupid play.Again, making a musical episode in a show it doesn't fit just because some of the actors were on a shitty musical show or did some stupid plays is idiotic. I am so happy that we have the ignore option. Just a friendly suggestion that some of you may want to use it. It's obvious when certain posters do not contribute much but endless rants on anything that does not cater to their very limited perferences.
If you haven't seen it you can't have an opinion. Hating the genre doesn't automatically make everything in the genre stupid. It is if you're not in the audience for plays, and saying a play won awards to someone who hates the genre/style doesn't really change an opinion. Maybe for its genre/style it was important. Doesn't effect my opinion on whether its (in my opinion) stupid or not, because every play/musical is stupid to me, and that's really a best case scenario.

Sorry but "Stupid" just isn't the word you should use to express that dislike. And blanket judgments and statements are never a good idea. Not objectively, no. But, for example, I don't need to listen to every Rap or Country song to know I hate those genres of music. Plays/musicals are the same. I hate them as a style/genre, so I'll always find them stupid (at best) to outright painful (at worst). That's not an objective comment on their quality or the genre/style, its just my subjective opinion.
