Has anyone motified the concept art to look like the film version yet?

Pretty close, but the back of the neck needs to slope down at a steeper angle.

Yes, thanks RAMA- these are awesome. Now I really can't wait to see some official photos.

If someone out there could alter the neck from the above design to match the photos more I think we'll have a winner.

I think this looks great and a lot closer to the finished version. Good job themanthebelly! The neck looks spot on. Although I think the shuttlebay should be somewhat visible from the side.

Alright guys, we are very close- can someone combine the engineering hull/nacelle pylons from the first concept shown in post #603 with the neck from post #609.

Do this and we pretty much have the Ent-A from Beyond.......

Do this and we pretty much have the Ent-A from Beyond.......

That's what I think too. Post #603 art resembles the rear engineering hull and nacelles more and post #609 art resembles the forward engineering hull and neck more. Combine these and we have the nuEnterprise-A. The side of the JJprise-A anyway.

Is it just me, or does the 4th image down make it look like the pylons are swept back a little?

One thing is for sure, this design has really grown on me fast. It's way less awkward-looking then the last model.

That's pretty much exactly what it looks like in the movie,though I think the saucer is a bit bigger.

Yep - I agree: the nacelle pylons are swept back slightly.
