Well, it wouldn't be France if nobody was on strike, right?The tournament is startig tomorrow. Public transports and trash collection are on strike. At least the rivers are not flooding anymore.

France isn't as strong as I thought they would be but it's early. You can see the tremendous potential they have.

We don't know what they were trying to do. Good point : it lasts only 15 minutes.
They will tell us that the team is not supposed to be totally ready for the first 3 matches.
It's a strange thing to host the Euro. The team will want to prepare the next world cup but they still don't want to lose at home.
That was an amazing goal by Payet. It came out of nowhere when everybody seemed to have resigned themselves to a draw. If the French team can find their mojo they're super dangerous.

You shouldn't really be able to score from a free kick that far out. The goalie was certainly at fault, but that really was a magnificent strike from Bale...
Three days of mindless violence in Marseille and tonight's also seeing clashes in Nice. It's only day 2 of the tournament. I fear that this tournament might mostly be remembered for the hooligan violence in the streets if that doesn't change soon.
