Congratulations!I also very much enjoy pissed off Janeway e.g. In Scientific Method (YES I REMEMBERED AN EPISODE NAME!!)
I'm afraid not. I don't know that show well enough - I'm only watching it for the third time. Also, although I mentioned earlier that I'm enjoying it a bit more now than I used to, it's nothing like Voyager (nothing is like Voyager in my book - surprise, surprise). I only like talking about films/shows that I really like. I know I'm different from almost everybody on these fora, who only keep posting what they DON'T like about shows - but I'm like that. There's a reason why I only make Star Trek Voyager wallpapers - it's a show I deem worth devoting so much time to.I look forward to starting DS9! Are you active on that forum as well?
I must say I can't wait for your next review, too. I enjoy them so much (as well as that, this is probably the friendliest thread on this forumWarlord

The Q and the Grey
I thought this episode was fun, and then it turned stupid in the second half. What I mean is the stuff on the ship was fun and cute all the same. I love the chemistry between Janeway and Q, and this episode provided one of my favorite quotes of the series, "What are you doing with that dog, and I'm not talking about the puppy". I love Susie Plakson so much and she was great as female Q here. It may not be K'ehleyr, but it was the closest we got for Voyager.
Then we entered the continuum and I get what they were going for but it was just dumb. For one, humans in the Q civil war didn't work because if a weapon hit them, what would happen? Would they vaporize, disintegrate, or something else? Also, to have Tom Paris capturing the head confederate Q guy just seemed wrong on so many levels. As an aftermath to Death Wish, I wish they were a little more intelligent than that, especially since Death Wish was such a thought provoking episode.
Macrocosm
Now this episode was awesome. I sometimes think the main reason we got the pony tail for Janeway was for episodes like this. This was basically Janeway's "Starship Mine" or Die Hard. It was also really eerie in a horror Aliens kind of way. The Microvirus was a really interesting design and I really liked how they used the buzzing like bees to signal that they were coming. I do have a question though. If most of the ship is offline, how did they get the holodeck running? Shouldn't the Holodeck be offline too? I mean that was the ace card to end the episode yet I'm not sure it made a lick of sense. Other than that, great episode.

We call Macrocosm Janeway's Sarah Connor episode.
Agreed. In addition to being an excellent episode, it is also visually pleasing:Alter Ego
This episode is very nice and a very enjoyable Tuvok episode. I really liked the Marayna character, and how she and Tuvok seemed to share a lot in common. It also utilized the resort holoprogram in the best possible way. I loved how it explored themes of loneliness and how the episode looked like your typical comedy with Kim asking to suppress emotions to the end where it got pretty serious and dark. Tuvok does have a soft side, afterall, as shown in the ending.
The girls look very cute in their stewardess outfits! Kes, especially ...
Thanks, TTF. This wallpaper has been the most difficult to make so far - above 40 hours, I think. But I also like the result - and yes, Kes looks lovely in it.The girls look very cute in their stewardess outfits! Kes, especially ...

Re-watched "Muse" (6x22) or when an unscrupulous playwright has found/holds B'Elena as prisoner, using her logs and talking with her to learn about her, Voyager and the crew and write plays to enchant his people with a huge success. He finally ask her help to make his planet avoid war.
I rank this episode at the same level than Threshold as for the strangeness!
What disturbed the most is the fact that, even if the guy eventually decided to make something right (to help his planet avoid war), he didn't hesitate either to hold a prisoner and to exploit her knowledge/to take advantage of it.
I admit o have found this situation a little disconcerting!![]()
Couldn't agree more. SCORPION to me is not noly the best VOY episode but the best sci-fi episode ever written. There are countless reasons for that, one of them being the introduction of Leonardo da Vinci:I've just been busy. I'll watch a few more this week, hopefully. I think next week will be better in terms of Voyager watching. I'm not really going at a quick pace though. This thread will always be here when I do see some. Also I'm really looking forward to Scorpion, which is my favorite episodes of the series so there is plenty of motivation to continue.![]()

I actually like MUSE but I admit that it's pretty boring in the sense that it doesn't add that much to Voyager. We don't really learn anything about the characters, there's no development for them. It also doesn't propel them on their journey home. The very first time I saw this on original airing my initial reaction was "They are totally making fun of fanfiction and fanfiction writers!" To this day I can't shake that impression.
Read an amusing fanfiction that played with the concept of Tom being the one stuck on the planet...the idea being he would have thrown himself into the idea of helping write a play and would have made it bigger and better...even taking over. I assume the writer (which in this case would probably be a woman) would be ready to get rid of him by the time Voyager found him.![]()
Agreed, some people are amazing at this! I actually envy them - I couldn't write anything even if I were forced at gunpoint. I find that I can express myself a lot better in pictures.Maybe... .That's remind me that lately, I read that Voyager and DS9 novelists were hired for CBS's upcoming Star Trek 2017 TV show... .
Antway, I am totally admiring of all those who write fanfictions. Some of them are trully excellent.![]()
Absolutely agreed. It's a very touching episode, I think. And the special guest star on that one was Joel Grey, probably most famous for his role on the musical CABARET (film version) as Master of Ceremonies.I quite enjoyed muse personally! I really enjoy epsiodes where the characters are forced into unknown places, and I think this epsiode really showed off B'ellanna as an actress interacting with the unknown.
I recently watched resistance it's been a long while and I had all but forgotten about it, but what an epsiode. Whoever the guest star in that epsiode was simply amazing Imo. I thought that was one of the most emotional episodes of Voyager and I'm sure it really touches home to people with memory deliberating conditions.
