If you don't want big spoilers don't read the article over io9 titled 'How Star Trek Beyond Plans to Honor Its 50th Anniversary' because they are describing in details two scenes they saw filming and that sound important. The title is misleading! LOL

New international poster that is sort of an older style montage that also looks like some of the older book covers, but with new graphics. Check out the Enterprise that looks like it might be from a Blish cover adaptation. Beautiful.

Yeah, I think Minor did only artwork, but the Phase II Enterprise was pretty much what is in that movie poster artwork, just unfinished IIRC. Then they switched gears (again) back to a movie and the others you mentioned put their stamp on the ship.
For a moment I thought that was a 3-warp nacelled ship...
Did they have to put the damn motorcycle there?

Lots of interesting stuff, indeed.
Two quick impressions:
1) There seems to be quite a lot quoted in that piece from a Collider interview with Simon Pegg which I saw linked yesterday: http://collider.com/simon-pegg-star-trek-beyond-interview/ - (Or maybe it's that both writers were present at at the same press event/Q&A session. We've seen that effect before.)
2) Did the writer of the Slashfilm piece have a bet going with someone concerning how many times he'd be able to use the phrase "camera hand job" before his editor made him stop?
What of the picture john cho was holding with a little girl? was that not his kid.
today?isnt it a bit late? I though the film has finished post production.
Much easier to score a film that is finished than not.
Indeed, and scoring the film is different from starting from scratch. He's been writing the music for it since at least March.
