What's the best trek movie trailer ever?

The new trailer comes out Friday as we all know, and I expect it to be more "fan friendly" as well as one of the best trailers ever since it's the first designed for a specific event dedicated to it. The teaser already was nominated for an award, but what do you think is the best full trailer for Star Trek?

My favorite 2? The multiple-award winning 3rd trailer for ST09. One of the best trailer ever.

I like the "beyond the darkness, beyond the human evolution..." teaser for TWOK, and also the nostalgic TUC teaser with Christopher Plummer's voice-over.

And you can't beat Orson Welles doing the voice-over for the TMP trailer. I'd like to know how they ever got that to happen!

The trailer for Generations will always be special to me. Back then I was able to receive Sky One UK here in Germany, and I saw that trailer so many times ... and it had so many great lines:

Time is a predator that stalkes us all our lives.
Time is the fire in which we burn.
I have an appointment with eternity, and I don't want to be late.

My sister and I went on citing lines from that trailer over and over again ... it was fun!
 
Star Trek Into Darkness IMAX trailer was the best Trek trailer I've ever seen. Big, thunderous, and goosebump entertaining!!!
 
Definitely ST09 #3. That was probably the most excited I've ever been for a movie--certainly of the last ten years, but maybe even my lifetime.

I'd forgotten how good that '09 trailer was. And has it been seven years already? Yikes.
 
Thanks for putting those all in one place, RAMA. Also, an interesting topic. I have to go with the ST09 trailer as the best of the lot. But the TMP, TWOK, and TSFS trailers made me misty-eyed. Ah, nostalgia! And memories! Where were you when -- ?
 
Star Trek '09 ftw! I remember people trying to find the composer and the name of the song in that trailer. . . .(Two Steps from Hell and "Freedom Fighters" if you are interested. . . . seven years later, several of their trailer cues feature heavily in my playlist).

"I dare you to do better." < That line made it, btut he editing of the 2009 trailer was just wonderful for the tease it brought.

I remember getting excited for the First Contact trailer when it was first around, but there was nothing really spectacular about most Trek trailers. The only one that stuck in my mind was TWOK as it opened well.
 
remember seeing snippets of the GEN trailer (teaser) on a late night movie program and was left in no doubt it was going to be a redo of Yesterdays Enterprise (in a similar way to how TMP redid Changeling). at one point it clearly looked like Kirk was on the ENT D under attack! I think at that point it was established it'd be only Shatner/Doohan/Koenig, but who knew what might happen...maybe Nimoy and the others would cameo somehow.
