*Potential Spoilers* What will the Alternate Enterprise-A look like

^That is the Enterprise-A prime universe plaque from The Final Frontier. One of the staff admitted having it lying around and brought it to the event.

And I found the picture on his twitter feed, that's a very generic, low rez, literally no detail blocky representation of the current Enterprise. From some random infomatic screen in a hall.

It's generic and low rez for a reason. SO you don't get fully spoiled on the beauty of the ship. Can't wait for the fly by.

There isn't, this universe has already created ships twice her already considerable size, and in the years since I assume many other designs have been created.

They'll get the NuExcelsior, or something totally new altogether.

A new ship, but I'm still thinking a Connie-class (this universe's version) Enterprise, with maybe some nods more toward the one we have in the original cast movies.

OldSpock and the Jellyfish saved them the first time.

They just barely scraped by the second time, nearly losing their ship and allowing another to kill thousands.

So...yeah, not nearly so much as the others.

They didn't really save Earth in STID, they just thwarted Marcus's vague plan to "militarize" Starfleet and then failed to stop Khan from destroying San Francisco.

Shame, I like the design, I also would have no problem with the slightly darker paint job, I've never really seen the point of having bright white starships in space. It just makes them an even bigger target.

A nice gunmetal finish like the one above would look much better. Plus it goes well with blue and red.

Think you are pretty close.

To me the neck looks pushed further back secondary hull like 60s ship too. Nacelles look different too and ive scrolled in more than a few times on that image lol

Yes, the nacelles appear thinner at the front and slightly shorter than they do on the JJprise. I overlaid the image of the ship over the JJprise and the proportions didn't line up, so I modified the ship so it did. Like you say, I agree that the neck looks more like the TOS ship. We cannot be certain until we get a bigger image.

What would everyone's reaction be if they didn't get a new Enterprise, and instead continued on with the USS Franklin? Bit of a downgrade from the flagship, but if Kirk keeps getting it trashed...

I fully expect the Franklin to stick around for at least the next movie. Just like the Klingon BoP was kept around for Trek IV.

Personally I would be pizzed if they don't get a new Enterprise at end. A sister ship of jj prise BUT updated w red buzzards and nacelles looking more normal. Also get rid of the SW star destroyer interior look too......
