Kirk too, judging from some of the photos. Foolish of them to come between the dragons.Looks like Spock gets pretty beat up in this episode.

To be fair, the Chasing Atlantis people are responsible for the content and editing of their video.(come on STC, are you even trying?)

This was pointless. How about showing the prop master (s) working on their phasers or other knickknacks. How about adding more footage of their engineering set-building, or partially their supposedly-secret new set and its builders? How about their rookie orchestra and conductor on a workday? A tableread with the actors? Not that I expect it, but a rehearsal for a stuntfight or two? Some scenes with Ralph Miller in post, or early greyscale 3D shots as they progress all the way to final texturing? bloopers?
This was less about ''behind-the-scenes on STC'', and more like ''STC cast and crew gushing about the meaning of Trek in their lives''...
Oh sorry, there was about 5 seconds showing some of the actors getting touch-ups on their make-up...my bad...
(come on STC, are you even trying?)
yes thank you, I'm well aware of those videos. There were a lot of photos and videos posted during the construction of the Engine Room. Check out the STC Vimeo collection at: https://vimeo.com/startrekcontinues/collections for a lot of behind the scenes and construction videos. .Also, the project designer (Will Smith) has his own website at: http://tosgraphics.yuku.com/topic/456?page=1#.VzCcE8L2aHu where he extensively detailed the construction and numerous other things associated with building things for STC.
Oh I don't know, showing SOMETHING from it might actually help build anticipation for their release...just like the real movie studios do? It doesn't have to be the whole set, it could be something as non-spoilerish as props from them, ot even an alien potted plant...If they had photos of the (secret) set b4 the episode was out it would not be secret would it?
funny, Starship Exeter was also a ''volunteer'' production, but when they posted a Behind-the-scene documentary of their first production, it was actually informative about actors, their filming process, FX shortcuts and the like...on their dime as well.I too would like to see more about the making of STC but you are asking "volunteers" to take time out of doing the work to make stuff about doing the work.
This was pointless. . . .

I truly do not understand this way of thinking. True, movie trailers that overly reveal many of a film's plot points have gone into hyperdrive over the last few years, I can understand that. But as has been amply proven by last year's The Force Awakens trailers, assembling a string of ''beauty shots'' without major story implications has done nothing but stoke anticipation to a fever pitch for that specific movie release. If only the announcement of a Star Wars movie would come out, yes the hardcore and casual fans would have been there opening week.As far as the new set goes; yes, one look at it would be a major spoiler which is why you have seen nothing of it.
