Crusher: Are you alright, Captain?
Picard: What? Oh yes, Doctor... I'm just trying to make sense of this lawsuit from centuries ago that archeologists have uncovered. Did you know, for example, that the evil warlord Al'ec Peetars tried to take the property of a large corporation and pass it off as his own?
You were actually the 15001 post, so I deleted one of my more pointless posts from earlier in the thread. Now you have the 15000 spot15,000th post. This thread is, though, of course an unripe idea and hasn't been locked. It's hard to say i 'post in it' because it doesn't yet exist.
Once again, proudly following my tradition of getting an Axanar joke into each TNG caption quiz

Not yet, so that argument is unripe! But did he make a profit from it?
TOS did it first. E.g, Spock's Brain.
IDK---even as a kid I was like "WTF is this?"Spocks Brain is far superior to anything I have seen from Fan productions. IMO.
Ooh, I can't agree on that. New Voyages' "World Enough and Time" was terrific, Starship Exeter's productions were fun and creative. Star Trek Continues creates fun and exciting episodes that feel authentic in a classic sense. All of them are worth consideration as labors of love.Spocks Brain is far superior to anything I have seen from Fan productions. IMO.
I wonder which fan productions you've seen. I personally don't have a problem with Spock's Brain, but I've seen fan episodes that are better written. They're not without problems, but well done none the less.Spocks Brain is far superior to anything I have seen from Fan productions. IMO.
I agree. A couple of my favorite TOS adventures are from NV and STC.Ooh, I can't agree on that. New Voyages' "World Enough and Time" was terrific, Starship Exeter's productions were fun and creative. Yet, sadly, still superior to many fanfilms, once the rose-colored glasses come off. Now, "The Alternative Factor" is probably inferior to a few fan videos...
