CBS/Paramount sues to stop Axanar

You know, there is a mental state of being that has to do with secretly loathing a person or a thing, but outwardly attempting to show love for or admiration of same. As I read this Thread, and the other sources of Axformation available, it is as obvious as a Rigelian Flame Gem that Our Man Alex is ever finding new ways to dishonor and denigrate the Franchise and the Fans, while professing a resolute stand and assuring us of his caring for this thing we hold dear. It is truly pathological.

Do you suppose he even likes Star Trek?

Sorry... I was distracted by the picture Lynsioux posted

Got a kick out of this, going back down Memory Lane with this whole Black Hole...funny to read the "tone" of things, only 7 months ago...pretty soon there will be Posts and Clips of Fan Reaction to "The Axanar Situation"!

Outside the Court House

Reporter: "Can you tell us how you felt when you heard the Horrible News?"

Fan: "Well, I can tell you that I was in the kitchen, getting a cup of coffee, and I about dropped my Donation Premium Mug!"

Any chance the plaintiffs ask Alec to try on the Garth of Izar outfit... and it doesn't fit? (I assume because he's been nervous-eating sushi.)

I don't think this was linked to in this thread, but everything else has been, so maybe I just missed it. Here is an example of Alec Peters in action, going back to 2009.

Very interesting reading! The portrait of a guy who thinks the rules and niceties of society don't apply.

Didn't AP make reference to setting up a Propworx auction in one of the Trek.FM podcasts? Was it THIS auction?

He didn't announce his attendance in advance on the Donor Page??

From the blog: "The convention has a lot of potential. Axanar Associate Producer Bill Watters is one of the inner circle and busted his butt all weekend to make it a great con.

Next year we will be showing Axanar there I am sure!
Alec"

Dude has some serious problems with reality.

Cheesy parody FTW.

When we do it, we call it a sidebar.

Choice!!! If I need to Appear, I will, but I want/need Permission to use that, going forward!!!

I will forever read/say that in a "Perry Mason" voice.

"Your Honor, a "Giggle", please..."

Marketworx aka Auctionworks - started in 1999, Alec resigned in 2005, reportedly raised $16,000,000 in venture capital. Where did all the money go?

Screaming Sports - started 2006, raised $1,250,000 in venture capital in 2007. Disappears off the web in 2008. Where did all the money go?

Propworx - raises hundreds of thousands of dollars in consignment auction sales in 2009. Bankrupt in 2012, owing 14 creditors over $400,000. Revived 2015. Currently conducting auctions. Where did all the money go?

Axanar - started in 2012, raised $1,300,000 in 2014-2015 plus an unknown amount of money outside of KS/Indiegogo. Still raising money and selling items in it's Donor Store. Released a set of unaudited books just for the KS campaigns, leaving over $500,000 unaccounted for. Seeking $250,000 - $400,000 more in investor funds to purchase the studio's assets and go private. Where has all the rest of the money gone?

If money keeps disappearing there's either laundering going on, a drug problem, a gambling problem, or straight up irresponsibility in spending.
