Not wanting to piss anyone off or single out just this post, but I think this is pretty essential. Thanks.
It's said whenever this comes up but the message tends to get missed. Alec's personal life and relationships are nothing to do with us, Axanar, or the twisted Arthur Miller play that is his business dealings. Let's leave it out of this thread.

From E&Y's Wiki:

Despite the name, the award is not normally given to a single individual in each competition; for example, in New York in 2013 there were 10 winners. In 2014, there were 11 United States National winners, of whom one was listed as "Overall Award Winner".

According to Ernst & Young, in the 25 years the award has been given, there have been over 10,000 individuals recognized, an average of over 400 per year.

Peter's award was for the southeast US, Georgia, Tennessee, and the Carolinas.

And not saying that he's a giant liar *cough* but the only reference that I can find that he did win that award are from Peter's own sad menagerie of failed business websites.

Also, I live right down the street from where Peter's graduated from law school. Anyone think I can waltz in and see where he ranked? I'm guessing near the bottom, but UNC doesn't publicly release said rankings.

Just say you are doing an article on Peters and need to know what he got to make a balanced and fair report

The fact he's shown no knowledge/understanding of the law in any of his dealings thus far make his having actually attended law school little more than a bad punchline at this point :guffaw:

If you went to Wilmington, Delaware, you could actually see my graduation pic in the class of '86 collage. I doubt you could get my grades, though, and I imagine the same is true of UNC.

Note: what I was wearing was in style at the time.

Go-Go boots and a rah-rah skirt, right?

Axanar and Propworx provide more than enough material to discuss without taking things to a darker place.

Taking things back in that direction, when he posted that he was still optimistic about showing Axanar at that convention next year, does that come off to folks as posturing for the lawsuit or a genuine belief?

Given that he hasn't really shown any indication he considers (let alone knows) any of his actions to be in the wrong, I'd say it was genuine belief on his part.

However since work's pretty much ground to a halt - there's not a chance in sto-vo-kor he'll have anything to show.........

I'm all for a good laugh at Axahat's expense, but family and friends who aren't involved in his mischievous escapades are out of bounds and off limits.

But as far as I'm concerned, willing accomplices are fair game.

And which is the sole reason why I make Diana jokes.

Is she part of Axanar Productions which is a company being sued? - Yes

Is she, therefore, fair game? - Yes

Is somebody posting things and then deleting them? I have had six alerts in five minutes and can only read two of them

My surmise re the ownership of the house was not to suggest any vices or anything. I don't think Alec is a drug addict. I'm sure he's not a gambler. He does enjoy living well. My suggestion of "keeping her quiet" was about allegations already raised re shill bidding, sharp business practices, possible auction fraud, etc. In any event, providing a home for a friend is a nice thing to do, and I think his primary motivation was indeed helping a family he cares about. He is very good to the children and loves them. I apologize if anything more nefarious was implied in any of my statements.

Well it seems he "bought a home for a homeless family" - and then kept it since ownership is in his name.

My point, to be explicit, is that NO one's PERSONAL life is 'fair game' regardless whether they are part of the lawsuit or even look like a 'willing accomplice'. Perhaps 'fair game' for examining what they have represented about Axanar goals or operations, but NOT for what they say (or what anyone says about them) about their personal relationships, or even more, what one might like to infer and speculate about their personal relationships.

Axanar business ops and Axanar personnel personal lives just gotta be separated and this boundary respected.
