It's always been available on Amazon Instant Video. Of course you had to pay for individual episodes /seasons. Maybe they mean it will be available for free for Prime members? If so, that's a good thing.

Hooray! Amazon Prime also gets you Sarah Jane Adventures and Torchwood! Curiously, Torchwood never left Netflix.

As advertised, there's no sign of Season 9 or Classic Who.

I began a classic-series rewatch last year with the assumption that I'd use Hulu to rewatch episodes that I'd already seen on DVD within the past couple of years (I'd previously been going through them randomly, just whatever I found at the library, but I wanted to do a more systematic, chronological rewatch). They yanked it just before I got to Troughton. So I've pretty much had to rely entirely on DVDs from Netflix or the library, which is slower going.

I finally went back on Netflix a few days ago, and it's still all there. Re-read the article and it says "American Netflix" so I guess I'm good.

Most of Classic Who, with the possible exception of the most recent recoveries and animations, are available on YouTube. They've been there for years, and stuff they don't want there gets removed really quick, so, there is no need to worry that it's inappropriate, if they had a problem with it, they'd have it all removed.

Kinda bummed, the Dutch Netflix lost seasons 1-4. All of the Tennant stuff is gone.

You can chose to rent from any Netflix in the world.

You just need a portal to spoof your location, and adjust your currency as you pay your bill month to month.
