NO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Buy? Record off TV back then. That's what the VHS and Betamax were for...right?
It's always been available on Amazon Instant Video. Of course you had to pay for individual episodes /seasons. Maybe they mean it will be available for free for Prime members? If so, that's a good thing. It seems Doctor Who is going to Amazon Prime:

It also only mentions Series 1 - 8 of the new series. I wonder why season 9 not included? They only mention the modern series going to Amazon Prime. Any word about Classic Who?
As advertised, there's no sign of Season 9 or Classic Who.
Most of Classic Who, with the possible exception of the most recent recoveries and animations, are available on YouTube. They've been there for years, and stuff they don't want there gets removed really quick, so, there is no need to worry that it's inappropriate, if they had a problem with it, they'd have it all removed.Rats. I began a classic-series rewatch last year with the assumption that I'd use Hulu to rewatch episodes that I'd already seen on DVD within the past couple of years (I'd previously been going through them randomly, just whatever I found at the library, but I wanted to do a more systematic, chronological rewatch). They yanked it just before I got to Troughton. So I've pretty much had to rely entirely on DVDs from Netflix or the library, which is slower going.
