Agent Carter - Season 2

^If anyone has to ask anyone else to smile for them then they're probably doing something wrong.
No, no. They are not doing something simple wrong. Or inappropriate. Or sexist. They are truly dangerous people!

Let's analyze together the people who made this request.

Agent Carter:
A despicable person, ready to evict a single mother and her daughter and leave them for a younger girl. Probably he is also a child molester.
Then a sleazy "talent scout", definitely ready to sexually abuse his victims.

Jessica Jones:
Zebediah Killgrave. Nuff said.

Dear female readers, if someone asks you to smile, do not tell him that it is an inappropriate request, or that he is using a double standard or something similar.

Simply run.

Well by that logic then every wedding and school photographer ever is likely a closet psychopath...which wouldn't be a massive shock. ;)

Didn't look like it pierced anything vital. After that, it was just controlling the bleeding. Probably left a pretty nasty scar, though.

Thank god it hit the same totally non-injuring spot that Cordy hit on Buffy S3!

I was really shocked they gave her such an injury, given that this show is unfolding in semi-real time and there's only four episodes left. I'm going to find it pretty unrealistic if she's having fight scenes in the next episode...

The problem with Rose the gate guard being so awesome is that when every speaking woman can do somethin it lessens the awesomeness of Peggy, Dottie, May, Bobbi and even Natasha. There isn't just one per generation anymore every potential has become a slayer.

So, her only injury from falling 30 feet onto her back on ridged concrete blocks, was from the rebar?
It was hard enough to believe when Buffy survived falls like that, and she was supposed to have super powers.

Yeah, when I saw that shot, my reaction was, "They Cordelia'd her!" Although Cordy's wound was more central, I think, and took longer to recover from.

Nobody would ever say a male character is less awesome because there are tons of other male characters who can do stuff too. Nobody would say Captain America is less awesome for sharing the screen with Iron Man, War Machine, Falcon, Thor, Hulk, Black Panther, Winter Soldier, Hawkeye, etc. That would obviously be nonsense. So it should be just as obviously nonsensical when applied to female characters.

My DVR cut off right after Whitney Frost grabbed her husband by the throat, can somebody give me a summary of what happened after?

They would if the Falcon was working at the same speed as Captain America instead of being slower.

Well, I usually don't give credence to any of the doomsday talk about ratings where Agents of SHIELD is concerned, but Agent Carter's ratings this season have been troubling.

An ominous portent concerning a season three surfaced today. Hayley Atwell is filming another ABC pilot (Heh. Her character's first name is "Carter".)

Let us enjoy these next few weeks, as they are to be all we get.:weep:

I'd heard AC ratings coming back were down but I never looked into it as it's not uncommon for a dip to occur. Figured the shows standings at the end would be the important numbers to look at.

Still, everyone is assuming this is the end. It's just a pilot, no guarantee of pick-up. Furthermore if it is she could theoretically do both. AC is a show filmed in a short time frame. It could even be shifted to summer and allow Marvel's Most Wanted to take it's Winter slot.

I'm not ready to give in to the Doomsayers Calls just yet.

The ratings for S2 are about half of S1, and S1 barely got renewed in the first place. And now Haley is cast on another show? It's over. Fun run while it lasted.

They can always work her into more AoS backstory if it suits the story and she's available.

I was hoping for an Agent Carter - Season 3. Hopefully with a slight time-jump (1950?) and featuring the earliest, early days of SHIELD with Dum Dum Dugan and Howard Stark as central characters alongside Peggy. Looks like that's not happening.
