Disney is saying they might have him alive after Return of the Jedi.
I love how if the old EU did something then Disney has to do it too.

I'm a bit jealous. I only got to see it twice.Got around to seeing The Force Awakens again yesterday.
As entertaining as it was the first time. Daisey Ridley really seemed to have a screen presence about her, Adam Driver not so much.

Looking forward to the Blu-Ray release.
Two or three times in the theater is enough for most movies no matter how good they are, especially with current ticket prices. The Blu ray release is only two months away and then I can watch it as often as I like!
My biggest complaint, and one of many modern films is it focuses too much on visually telling the story. There needs to be more exposition.
One of the single biggest scenes that made no since and could have been handled better was the destruction of Hosnian Prime. There is know way they would be able to visually witness that from Mazz Katana's world.
One of the core rules of film-making is "don't tell what you can show." This is a visual medium.
I understood the movie just fine without any extra expository dialog to bog things down, and without having to read any tie-in materials.
As for exposition, they didn't visually show why Kylo Ren fell to the Darkside and hated his father.
They didn't say or show why the Republic that rose after the fall of the Empire would be so complacent when it comes to the First Order.
