Kevin Smith actually got a line of dialogue in a Star Wars film? That alone might make him happier than almost anything else he's done other than raise his family and make the original Clerks.

Silent Bob speaks, and through the helmet of a Stormtrooper. Well done, Kevin.

I missed this- where was he and what did he say?

^ According to the link posted above, he is a Stormtrooper that says "We have incoming at 28.6! Move!" in reaction to incoming resistance fighters.

And I missed the connection each time I saw the film. I'm sure I heard the line, but never knew it was Kevin Smith until a couple of days ago.

Hearing about Kevin Smith reminded me of another rumored secret celebrity role in TFA. Have we gotten any kind of official confirmation about whether or not the Stormtrooper Rey Mind Tricks is Daniel Craig?

The difference here was voice actors and then actors on set.

Yeah, the guy doing the voice for Daniel Craig's Stormtrooper wasn't Craig.

Funny, I thought it sounded like Craig mimicking an American accent or something.

The voice is how people picked up on it be Craig in the first place.

Yeah, that definitely sounded like Craig with an American accent. I thought it was the most noticeable with the way he said "I'll tighten your restraints, scavenger scum."

I've heard Craig's American accent and it sounds cheesy (e.g. the horrible Tomb Raider film) as much as I like Craig. To men, it sounded like he was speaking in his natural voice...but obviously having fun with the character since the scene was pretty much played for laughs.

Gwendoline Christie will be back for Ep VIII.
I really hope she gets a bigger role this time. They talked her up quite a bit before TFA, but then she ended up not really doing anything that impressive in the final movie.

Well she is captain of the stormtroopers and is a little tall for a stormtrooper.

I didn't doubt it, but it is good to see this confirmed. I'm hoping Phasma will be more of a presence in the next movie. Maybe she will be on a revenge quest against Finn. A little "Kill Finn," maybe?

I heard the blu ray includes a cut scene of her spinning around in a portapotty thrown clear of the Starkiller exploding.

I'm really looking forward to the blu-ray. I hope I'll get to hear the German dub. The very idea of hearing General Hux give that speech in German makes me all giddy.
