The best season was seven years long and it's called: STAR TREK: The Next Generation More than enough to satisfy and still ... I cannot get my fill. So, I turn to the rest of the franchise as if it were just a big, steamy bowl of salmagundi, really.
Because season 3 is a better season and is epic. And S3 won and i was so fucking happy as i wanted it to win.
I thought the Best Season of DS9 was Season 7. Star Trek TOS Season 1 was great. DS9 is second, TNG is third, and I haven't seen the others.
Out of those options - DS9 season 5. TNG S3 still had some carry-over form the first two seasons and while it had it moments, hadn;t hit it's stride yet. Ent season 3 was just... ok, same with Voyager and ST was good.... but DS9 really hit it's stride seasons 4-6, and while I think 4 (and maybe 6) is better, 5 was pretty damn good.
This seems a very haphazard poll based on the highly particularised tastes of one individual poster. Still, never mind. Carry on guys.

Looking at the episode titles on Epguides the first season of The Original Series is almost flawless. The other seasons of the other shows listed in the poll had some pretty awful/dull episodes. Season 4 of TNG was better than Season 3 in my opinion. I agree with Season 5 of DS9 and Season 4 of Voyager being those shows best seasons.
In my mind, it is a tie between TOS Season 1 and DS9 Season 5. But given the tie, I voted for TOS, since without it, there would have been no DS9 Season 5.
TOS S1. I actually prefer TOS S2, but TOS S1 would be my second choice, out of all of Trek. TNG S3 would be next.
