The Action Figure and Toy Collecting and Discussion Thread!

Heh, my intent was that Wonder Woman was flying behind Broly. Guess it didn't translate. His hair is large and pointy that she does balance on it pretty well.

The table I'm doing this on is getting full. Tomorrow will be interesting.

Phasma: "You look awfully familiar"

I know Darth Vader and Kylo Ren are locked in combat, but....you know what, never mind.

Another grand slam out of the ballpark, man. Well done! :techman:

They're not in combat. Kylo Ren is on his knees fanboying out in front of Vader. :p

That's the problem when these things get into the final days. There's so many figures that the little stories I have in my head become really difficult to see. Oh well

Yeah, that fits with what little we know about Kylo's character. That was a neat decision! Your Christmas photos are like the Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band album cover. Always something to look for and going on in the background. :)

Day 10 in particular has a ton! Rocket stealing the speederbike, Gwendolyn Christie meeting Gwendolyn Christie, Red Hood cracking some skulls, and one of the Stormtroopers revealed as not quite what he seems.

I've been kinda hoping someone would notice Goku, but perhaps it's too much of a meta joke. I've had one standing in the same position for four days now. If he had dialogue it would be this:
Day 7: KA
Day 8: ME
Day 9: HA
Day 10: ME

Northstar finally arrived. For such a fast mutant he sure took his time getting here.

Shaman is moving slowly due to work, but in 2 more days I start a 2 and a half week vacation so maybe I will get him done then.

CCC.

Just got back from seeing The Force Awakens in IMAX, also they released the last of the Die Cast Elite series. It turned out that it wasn't one figure but three. Two are variants of past ones, that of Rey and Kylo Ren. I'm still to hyped up to write a review of TFA yet, need to still digest it. However heres what I picked up at the Disney Store today.
Here Rey,

Sorry for being MIA - I had visitors over the weekend and naturally we played with figures. We set up a Star Wars Cantina - a crossover set with figures from Star Trek, Stargate and Doctor Who. Lots of aliens eating and drinking. You'll love it.

But it just occured to me that now may be a good time to post these old pics - the Doctor had a bit of trouble figuring out this weird weapon:

But slowly he got the hang of it:

my Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan Goku finally arrived. he's pretty nice.

Awesome! I need to get around to picking that one up.

You may want to spoiler code those. Rey and Kylo Ren could definitely be seen that way.

The Doctor with a lightsaber is either the greatest thing ever, or just terrifying.

So, sorry I didn't get a twelve days in yesterday. There was something awakening yesterday that I had to see. ;)

Without further ado, here's our final installment:

This is absolutely, definitively the last one of these I will ever do. If I do something next year, it's probably going to be more in line with the carols from last year. That's it. Never, ever, ever again!

Another outstanding Twelve Days of Christmas show from OdoWan. They just keep getting bolder and more creative with each year. If you could officially will a thread to a specific poster who's shown the skills and the talent to have earned it, I'd give this one to him.

Bravo, buddy. You never fail to entertain, and you have one awesome collection even if it's not what it used to be. Thanks again for all your hard work to bring us all of this! :) :bolian:
