A question that has been bugging me for a month or so.... How do you keep cats out of the Christmas tree?
While there is no full-proof method, there is however what we know cats already love to get into: boxes and plastic bags. Scatter them on the floor with them and lace them with catnip.
My attempts to get a cute holiday picture with Junior did not go well. I had to practically chase him around the house before he stopped long enough to get a photo. He was most unimpressed with my attempts at holiday spirit.
He actually looks like he's smiling ! It's probably just the angle of his head, but he honestly looks "happy". Sincerely, Bill
You haven't learned how to read Cat body language yet. It says: Leave me alone unless you got food. Which is 45% of the time. 50% is: Leave me alone, I'm sleeping. 2% is: Leave me alone, I'm playing in boxes and empty plastic bags. 1% is: Leave me alone, Im doing something you told me not to, like sneaking outside. 1.5% is: Leave me alone, Im licking myself. And 0.5% is: Okay, you can pet me now. But make it snappy unless I demand more.
^You're both wrong. I poured catnip in his bed just a few minutes earlier. That's not smiling or scowling. It's the "Dude, you're harshing my mellow" stare of a stoned cat.
