Didn't watch this weeks episode until yesterday and I did a Google search about Doctor Who before I watched it. First freaking entry/article spoiled the show in the title. That's BS.

How is that not your fault?
Is the world supposed to stop until you've watched the episode? What if someone doesn't watch it for a month? Or a year?
Yeah, this is akin to googling "last Saturday's ballgame" and being pissed that the first hit tells you the final score.
Yes, dang it! Some of us work for a living. They could at least wait until the next episode.

Sorry, no, I don't see your issue here. If you missed the episode when it aired and had to wait four days before you could see it, and you wanted to remain spoiler free, you shouldn't have Googled it. Google's first article when doing a search for Doctor Who is always a recap of the most recent episode, and with this week's seeing a main character's departure, that's going to be a smoking story online.
I can understand the complaints about all the spoilers posted from official sources about the next two episodes, or even the Christmas special. I don't agree with these complaints, but I understand. But for episodes which have already aired, it is your responsibility to avoid spoilers. While that isn't always easy, if you're intentionally doing a Google search for Doctor Who, then you have only yourself to blame.
Besides, how do you think fans of Walking Dead or Game of Thrones feel? If they miss an episode and want to remain spoiler free until they can watch it, they pretty much have to sequester themselves in a cave until they can watch it. Seriously, there were magazine articles published days later covering Glenn's storyline on Walking Dead this year.

Why did you google the episode AFTER it aired if you wanted to remain spoiler free? The only reason to do a Google search is to get information about the episode. What non-spoiler information about the episode were you looking for if you were already planning on watching the episode the same day? Why not just watch the episode first? Sorry but it does not make sense.
Furthermore, Google is a search engine. The whole point of Google is to give you relevant information. Of course, Google would give you spoilers after the episode aired. You cannot reasonably expect a search engine to keep you spoiler free!
I hate the word spoilers. I hate people's aversion to spoilers. If you don't want to be "spoiled," stay off the internet, especially in relevant areas where your show is concerned. Don't think it's possible? Oh, it is. If you try hard enough.
Otherwise, get over it. It's possible to still enjoy something while being "spoiled." Don't think that's possible either? It is. I've been doing it for years. Once you stop caring, you'll be surprised how easy some things are.

Everyone has a different definition of it, so anyone can potentially get offended at any discussion of X or Y. Even if said event in said show is YEARS old, some people still get pissed, and go "I'm in the middle of watching this for the first time! Thanks a lot!" Sigh...

Ok, so it's 4 days since I saw the new Star Wars movie. According to those that responded to me about the Doctor Who episode that got spoiled for me, I should be able to post spoilers about The Force Awakens. The world's not supposed to stop for people who haven't seen it, right?
