The least disliked episode of TNG - season three

This is a game that we play every two years, and it's generally a lot of fun, providing a chance to mentally revisit those episodes you may not have thought about in a while. With that in mind, why not play again?

So, here's the game. The basic idea is your standard elimination game. I'll provide a list of the episodes for each season and you need to eliminate your least favorite or the one you deem the 'worst.' Please provide an EXPLANATION for why you are eliminating your choice and be sure to copy and paste the list with your choice removed. Finally, leave at least 2 eliminations by other posters before you eliminate another episode.

Au Revoir, A Matter of Perspective.

I find it quite a dull and tedious episode surrounded by better stories. Quite a hard decision to make in a season that I'd argue is the best season of The Next Generation.

"Transfigurations," felt very slow and needlessly tenuous about whether Crusher would become attracted to the patient.

I am removing "Captain's Holiday". I did not care much for Risa and Vash. The time travelers were interesting, I think for me this is a case of liking this episode least amongst what is available.

The High Ground. Simply because I'm having a hard time remembering what happened in this episode even though I've seen the entire series many, many times.

^Ouch, I thought that was one of the highlights.
"Menage a Troi," what a big missed opportunity with nothing being done with the Deanna/William Riker relationship, there being little new or less annoying with Lwaxana, Wesley's promotion being forced/not fully believable.

This is going to be difficult the rest of the way. I am taking out "Evolution". I was thinking about which character features in each episode, and of the characters available Wesley is my least favorite, so that is why I am picking this one.

Who Snoozes the Snoozers? Super boring. Typical Roddenberry-istic episode too. A planet full of primitives rejected religion 1000+ years ago (somehow) but instantly jump back into it without hesitation. Uh huh.

'Who Watches The Watchers', perhaps the best episode of TNG for me!

 

I'll remove The Ensigns of Command. If I recall correctly, this is the one with the Sheliak negotiations, right? If so, that B-plot absolutely stole the show from the A-plot, and I found the acting of the colonists to be largely atrocious.

It's difficult since I like all the episodes left but I'll remove The Enemy. It has 3 interconnected plotlines but the one about Worf not helping the Romulan was the most interesting and least concentrated on. If it had been the A plot or B plot rather than the C plot I'd keep it around longer.
